[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The P1 G3 is light and power! My older workstation is a P51, it’s run faster but is very heavy, I will would like that the next generation of P1 includes a Numeric Keyboard.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used the machine for 1 month.
The laptop is plagued by the slow display issue when you connect to a 2nd monitor. You can fix it by dis + re-enable the internal monitor driver (or use the internal monitor simultaneously) until next sleep or restart. This is a well known and persistent issue, wondering why it has not been fixed yet. Internal monitor could not be adjusted brightness after sleep. After patching latest driver, the latter issue seems to go away.
I was concerned about fan noise before the purchase. Now it is a non-issue for me: it's quiet even fan on constantly (the design is a fault) on AC.
For my uses - common home/office uses, the above issues are minor and I will keep the machine, hopefully for another 10 years. I still miss the faultless experience from my (still using) T400, T430.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the new P1, and with the 64gb available RAM paired with the I9 processor this thing is an absolute powerhouse! Good luck finding any laptop that compares to it!
The only downfall is the battery life, but that's an expectation given the configuration with an i9. However, I have been able to squeeze out nearly 9 hours with moderate use. Having USB C charging ports definitely helps as well, however make sure you get a powerful USB C charger if you intend on using it, otherwise it'll either not charge at all (not enough power) or charge very slowly.
