Perfect

First time canner. I needed something easy to use, as no experience and no one who taught me in the past. It's just 2 of us in the home but with adult children nearby. Ease of use, good size, cleaning is a breeze and great customer support makes this a great appliance to have. I look forward to using both functions and supply our families with wholesome and healthy food.

Makes canning so easy

I bought this about 6 months ago and have used it both for water bath and pressure canning. It’s so nice to have this on the counter and not crowd the stove. I underestimated how much I’d appreciate the jar pre-heating function, it’s made the process so much smoother without having to consider timing the dishwasher cycle. I’ve loaned it to a few friends who also bought their own after trying it. The only disappointment is that it can’t water bath quart jars. Highly recommend if you can at least a few times per year.

Will not reach pressure

I got the canner for Christmas I have used it 5 time and I was trying to can some hamburger and the pressure will not build up it’s just loosing steam I have tried everything and restarted and cleaned everything four time now I have 10 pounds of ground beef not canned properly I’m so disappointed

COOL PRESSURE CANNING

I purchased the Presto electric because TX was in the middle of a "heat wave". I couldn't stovetop can in my small kitchen, just too hot. GAME CHANGER! I purchased a second one a yr later. I've PCd 40+ yrs. The PRESTO is absolutely awesome.

I'm so very happy with these! I now have 2!! The only thing is one doesn't beep anymore. But I never go far from them when I have them going. I also wish they beeped a bit louder. I truly am so happy with them!

Disappointed

My husband bought this for me less than a year ago I have used it less than a hand full of times and it doesn't work properly all of a sudden. Would love to get a replacement in hopes that one works like it should.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Waste of Money

This canner has been on the shelf more than being used. First lid was bad and they sent me a new lid. It worked a couple of times after that now the seal won’t stay put so it never comes to full pressure. Now it’s blowing breakers. I have wasted so much time and food with this thing. I would not recommend it AT ALL.
