I have had this canner for almost 3 years now and am still in love. I have been water bath canning since I was a child but had never used a pressure canner. (My mother was afraid they would explode.) As an adult I have begun making my own bone broths and wishing to preserve other vegetables that required a pressure canner. After quite a bit of research, I decided on this digital one and am so glad I did. It takes the guess work out of processing times and weights and measures. I live above 6,000 ft, so it is just one less thing to worry about. I have used this for pressure canning and water bath canning and it does a beautiful job. My canned goods are still good more than a year later even, nice tight seals.

I love this Presto pressure canner. It is saving me so much time in the kitchen from using a stove top pressure canner. It has worked great every time I have used it. I am so glad i purchased it, and will recommend it to anybody that stove top pressure cans food.

Lid not fitting.

Just purchased my 2nd Presto electric canner. But my lid will not go on when the qt jars are in it. Lid goes on ok when not loaded but nothing like my 1st one.

This is a very well built easy to operate canner. It has enabled me to can year round. I still use my stovetop canner when the garden is in full force, but love the Presto for ease of use.

My mother always wanted me to learn to pressure can on her stovetop canner. It scared me to death! Then I found this electric canner. I’m canning everything in sight! lol I love the simplicity of it. And it’s the perfect size for us.

Love it! Would love it more if I could steam can!

I bought my Presto Digital about a year and a half ago and love it. I love that it's simple to use and I don't have to watch any gauges or jugglers. I also like being able to use the stove for other things. I have started using a stove top steam canner though rather than my digital because it is faster to heat less water and much easier to lift. I haven't had any need for water bath canning for quarts. The one improvement I would love to see is a steam canning rack with instructions and the option to use the same settings for water bath/steam canning. Hopefully quarts could be steam canned without needing the canner to be taller because I'm not tall. Otherwise this canner is awesome!
