This works very well instead of canning on my glass stove top. The programming makes it so you don't have to hover over the canner during processing. I use it for both waterbather and pressure canning. And, it doesn't heat up my kitchen!

I bought this last fall, but was afraid to try it the first couple of months. Since then I’ve canned all sorts of jams, jellies, vegetables and meat. As well as meals in a jar. If there are ever any goof ups, it’s on me and not the canner. It’s wonderful, thank you!

Love my canner, my husband was so impressed he bought me a second digital canner as well as a new stove top pressure canner. The only negative is my kitchen is so small.
