Not for people with OCD

Overall it was a good build and the car looks great. However, 3 things bothered me during assembly. The stickers, there are a bunch but you have to apply them in various steps and then pieces end up next to each other and the stickers do not line up. You cannot have stickers that are all askew, so I had to peel a bunch off and reapply. The shaft that runs through the black steering knob is brown and looks out of place. Lastly, 3 of the axles are brown and 1 is gray. You can see it in their product pictures, it is really annoying.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I step away from legos when I finish Highschool, and growing up I was always intrigued by Lego Technic builds but never owned one. This was my first ever technic build & the nostalgic memories and excitement of building legos came right back, like it never left. The Senna is an excellent purchase especially for starters who have patience, some tricky parts but nothing that you can’t overcome. This build is worth every penny, I really enjoyed my time building it. I know I could’ve finish it in like a day or so, but I savored every moment, just put some music on an rock out. To make it even easier for it being my first technic build, I just did bag number by bag number instead of dumping everything out the bag. Also the most exciting part of this build is putting together the engine then connecting it to the chassis, then seeing the rear wheel drivetrain move the pistons(So Cool!). I will be purchasing the 911 as well,so I suggest that you do the same. Thank you Lego, the Senna is a must have!!.

Great value for money!

This is a astonishing 850 Piece or so set for only 50 bucks! I love all the details this includes, including the rotating engine pistons. It is a great touch to my desk along with my Lego Fiat 500. The only problem i had was, when you are installing the bricks that move the pistons up and down. It only clearly showed 3 of the 4 pieces, so after i was finished i had to take some sections apart to add the 4th piece. Other then that, great set! (This thing is also massive!)

AWESOME Lego car !

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was such a fun and rewarding build, My girls, age 8 and 10 built this Lego car with me. I let them do most of it and they only needed a little help here and there. The instructions were easy to follow for all of us. There are a total of 6 bags with the small and large pieces separated. The best part of this car is that once its built, you can actually roll it on hard floors to play with. The doors move up and down and the gears inside move also. Overall this was a really neat car to build and i look forward to building my next Technic Lego set!

The car has good colors, there are some things I don't like tho. The lights seem to far back, and barely visible to the point where you would think, what's the point of even putting them there. This wasn't the most annoying part. Trying to connect the windshield at the front with those two plugs to the connects was obnoxious and frustrating. Last thing I would mention that as far as the rear. It looks a little chunky at the back and boxy. I personally would of been interested to see what it was like with out the back bottom arrow like fins on the back sides. Overall, it's still a good set. Just not really any features beside the turning and the pistons moving.

Missing pieces

It may just be me, but this pack is missing pieces and my son is unable to build it. He told me that it was missing a certain piece and I ordered it, but he just realized that it was missing multiple pieces from pack 1.

Poor engine design

Soon after putting this set together, the engine pistons began to stick at every turn. The piston actually blocks the back wheels from turning. Luckily, I used some spare parts from another kit to remove the gear from the gearbox and disconnect the pistons from the drive shaft all together. Now the wheels work fine for my boy to push it around. I am hesitant to buy other technic vehicles without seeing a full assembly first to make sure I don't get another faulty engine design.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
