[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this a couple of weeks ago for my nephew and he’s been loving it. I like that the level of difficulty is very challenging which took his a couple of hours while I was helping him everyday for a whole week. It’s amazing to occupy their minds and challenge their abilities. I like that this toy car does exactly that. Help them find ways to put each piece where it belongs. After he put it together it was so nice and he sees it as a trophy every time he plays with it. I would highly recommend this as a gift for your little ones.

Make sure you have a few hours

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this for my eleven year old son who wanted to try out building model cars. He definitely needed some help. It took us hours to get through half. But the directions are clear and very informative. The car is large and looks amazing when complete. All the inside motor parts move with the car and I’m just extremely impressed with the overall outcome of the whole thing. It was definitely a little tiring and a lot of parts. I recommend only opening the parts for the section you are on because there are so many it can get confusing. My son is very excited and it now sits proudly on his shelf.

Value is better than the price! challenging too!

I was in love with seeing vehicles themselves, and when I see this product and its features, to me the product is great and it seems challenging. This helped me a lot with literally spending a lot of time of building! Not only that, but also staying organized and working with time management. Since I had trouble on focusing, especially with hands and instructions this product allowed me to practice temporarily while everything is going on, and this especially goes for stickers. The quality of this product is absolutely great. The packaging is 95% organized itself, the colors of the pieces are outstanding in terms of not ruining the colors of the product. Overall, the price is great and seems affordable (unlike the Lamborghini Sian FKP 37. The finish also seems quite well, but assembling this product may be troublesome for beginners of a different Lego product.

Good Lego car set to buy!

This Lego set is great because there are a lot of details and one cool thing that my son loves about this set is that one of the wheels can make the Motor of the car spin!

Great little car for big dreamers

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My boys are always talking about fast sports cars and debating which ones are the fastest or most expensive, so I hear about the McLaren a lot. This was the ideal Christmas gift for them because they were able to build and marvel over a version of it. They immediately opened the package and shorted pieces into zippered bags so they could take their time and work on it methodically. I did provide a little help with some of finding the right pieces but overall the instructions were clear and it was not too difficult. I think it’s a great brain exercise in attention to detail, following visual instructions, and completing tasks. It does have a ton of pieces so it is what I would consider a more advanced project than most they have done in the past but that did provide them with hours of occupation. I like that the instructions book is very large and breaks down each step into just a few pieces per page so it was easy to follow and flipping through you see how simple it is to get from start to finish. There are even realistic photos at the end that show it fully built and what the real thing looks like. This will look great on their display shelf and will also remind them of the fond memories of us working together on it. High quality just as you would expect from the brand.

I saw how many parts there were and I was like wow are we going to be able to do this. not only did we have a blast putting it together but we also had a blast playing with it when we were finished. it was true bonding experience. now he plays with this dude all the time I loved it it was one of the best gifts he has gotten I would definitely get them another one just like this well not exactly like this one but another one and hopefully he let me build it with him as well. Love it!

Much better than any pictures

Every photo that I have seen does not do justice to final model. Because of the technic plates, the camera always seem to over exaggerate shadows causing spaces between plate to appear wider than they really appear to the eye.
When you look at the actual model, you will appreciate how much nicer both the overall and detail appearance look.
