This ECTO-1 is fantastic... I was born in '84 so I am a Ghostbusters fanatic... I ordered the MINUTE this product became available.
THANKS TO MY SON for building it for me... I helped like 5%.
Overall, this required patience and the fact that you're likely not building this thing overnight. Overall, I am VERY happy with this!

Must Have Set!

I ordered this for myself the very minute it dropped. I put it all together and it looks great. Probably the best set I have built yet. I highly recommend people getting it. Especially, if you’re a huge Ghostbusters fan like myself.

Frustrating

I was so excited to buy this kit. When I started building I was immediately frustrated. The hood and the roof do not fit properly and I am pretty sure I did it correctly. I love it but it still sits as a reminder of something not quite right.

Oh no! I'm sorry your build is not going as planned. It’s unusual to have the wrong piece, so just in case, I’d recommend double-checking that you haven’t accidentally swapped it with a similar part. If your set does have the wrong part, then we’re here to help. Go to LEGO.build/Service-BV and select ‘Bricks & Pieces’ to request a replacement part.

One of my favorites yet.

I have loved Lego for years. Just the years I got very into the Creator Expert builds, specifically the Modular Building sets. They remail my favorites. I picked up the Ecto1 almost on a whim and out of nostalgia, but as I got further into the build, it climbed in my estimation to be one of my absolute favorites and my actually have displaced Assembly Square as my favorite build ever. All the details and clever intricacy definitely make me feel that it is value for money. The few places I felt a bit confused only added to the challenge, which is part of what I like about the Creator Expert builds.

My first Lego set in decades...

This set roped me back into building Lego for the first time since my childhood. I grew up with the original Ghostbusters movie and this incredible model hits all the right notes for me.
I seem to be rusty after such a long time away from the hobby because this set took 8-9 hours to complete. I had to backtrack a few times because I misaligned something, but the build was smooth overall. I did have a broken 4x10 plate for the hood and it took 20 days for a replacement to arrive. Thankfully, I was able to complete the rest of the build because that section was independent from everything else. It would've been a huge inconvenience otherwise.
There's so much to love about the Ecto-1. The playable features are so clever and it simply looks fantastic. This was so nostalgic and brought back a lot of fond memories.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Got me hooked

It has been some years since my last set. Decided to pick up a hobby after the kids go to bed and this set has got me hooked eyeing the vw camper, and the home alone house lol. This Set got me hooked, fun and enjoyable build, easy to follow instructions really enjoyed seeing it come together from the inside out. Kudos to Lego…

Product was fun to put together! Very cool looking in the end. Highly recommend this build. Never a fan of putting the sticker/decals on but whatever. Overall grab it if you find it.
