Everybody can relax, I found the car!

Needs some suspension work and shocks. Brakes, brake pads, lining, steering box, transmission, rear-end. Also new rings, mufflers, a little wiring...

Brings back childhood memories

I grew up with the original ghostbusters movies however this kit is of the new ghostbusters movie called afterlife. Still worth it. A little fragile but just take care of it and it will be fine. I definitely suggest if you want to make this kit a show piece.....GET A LIGHT KIT! The pictures in my review are with the light kit turned on. The light kit IS NOT INCLUDED WITH THIS LEGO KIT! You will have to buy it separately. Well worth the outcome! Some pieces were a little hard to get together and I had to rebuild a few things but it finally came together fine!

An Easy Modification

By skipping the rust stickers and switching the ladder to the right side of the car, you can turn this into the 1984 Ecto-1.
Overall, really great build. Tons of unique building techniques and a few new pieces!

Great kit, have your plastic buffing kit handy

Cool build. It was a lot of fun! The model is very detailed and I'm always impressed with how these are designed. The care and attention to the design are really great. My only gripe is all of my window pieces were scratched and scuffed. They were so bad I buffed most of them with a common acrylic polish. You'd think that these would be protected better to prevent this from happening during shipping.

Stop it with the stickers

Overall a solid build experience. Took my time. Enjoyed the construction.
But...it has a fair number of stickers. I hated the stickers. Stickers are the worst. Down with stickers.

First timer

So this is the first lego set I have ever done. Never even did them as a child. Ended up with this set as R2D2 was sold out. Not complaining. It turned out to be a joy to do it. Would work on it about 2-3 times a wk for about 2 weeks maybe 1-2 hrs each time. Really enjoyed the detail in the set. Not only does it bring back memories of watching Ghostbusters but also see all the moving parts was great too. Only thing I wish was cleaner was the stickers.. they are hard to handle and put on all level. Other than that piece looks amazing! All the doubters who thought i was crazy for spending the money now want to do it. Just had a newborn son and it is going in his room and now my father (in his 60s) enjoyed it and had me order a 4k peace creator set to create a collection for my son. Will be doing many more. Hope the make either the ghostbusters garage or even the car from the second movie.

Looks Like The Real Thing!

LEGO just keeps impressing me with these detailed and accurate builds. I was brought back to my youth with this iconic vehicle. This was fun to build, and very well thought out by the designer. Great job!
I also opted to move the ladder to the right side and not add the rust stickers.
