Masterful Design for Modular Fans

The Modular Police Station is an excellent pickup for Modular building fans. I think this set will most appeal to those that have an existing collection of Modulars as I do not think that the Police Station is incredibly eye-catching on its own. This building definitely looks best when surrounded by other Modulars. The two small buildings on either side of the Police Station look strange when the set is displayed on its own, however it adds some excellent texture to a city street setup.
Collectors of the modular line of sets will also be able to appreciate the insanely beautiful and intricate design of this set. I did not think that LEGO would be able to top the refined build experience of Assembly Square. However, the Police Station easily edges it out. Experienced collectors will marvel at how the front face of the Police Station goes together. The surprising build techniques definitely give me more appreciation for the look of the Police Station even if the aesthetic is a little mundane.
TL DR; I would highly recommend this to Modular collectors. However, I would recommend that those that are looking for an entrance point into the product line purchase the Bookshop or Assembly Square instead.

Fun Set and Worth the Money

This was my first modular build...it was a fun build and so many little details to it. The build seemed pretty simple to follow and lego did a great job putting the instructions all together. The only negative is that some of the bricks (colors) look very similar and you have to do a double take when building and looking at the instructions, Overall its a huge piece and the value for a 3000 piece this big is totally worth it.

Good fun

The Police Station is standard "new" Lego excellence. My major issue is the directions are printed with a black back ground making it almost impossible to see the darker pieces. It also lacks the sheer greatness of the Diner and the Brick Bank. Overall would recommend to the collectors of these fine buildings.

this set is special to me. i really enjoy having it on display with multiple police add ons. there was a tiny piece missing unfortunately but lego took care of it right away. i was still able to finish the build for now.

My sixth modular building!

I joined several Facebook groups to get inspiration for what I wanted to build with Lego, and discovered the elaborate cities including modular buildings. This is my sixth modular building. As an amateur student of architecture, I enjoy the details on the facade of each modular, especially the combination of parts to create a design I would never think of myself. I'm fond of the lavendar bricks in the Doughnut Shop (and find it humorous that this shop is next to the Police Station). I like the ivy climbing up the building, too.
