Big but a tad bit boring

Pros: Good value per piece, big build, fits well with the other modules, great that the city now have a police force presence, the little details are cool with the billboard, the donut shop, the news stand, and even the crime story the build tells.
Cons: It's oddly boring, even writing this I struggle to remember anything that creative about the story it tells, the donut shop is neat but scaled weirdly, I get it.. it's a police station but man those colors were drab.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Pretty Poggers

I have to say this was a pretty awesome set to build and a great place to start getting into the modular line of sets! I've just started getting back into lego's again in the past year and this was a very fun and fulfilling build. The little details really bring it to life and I admire how they try and do something different with having the main building in the middle between two smaller ones. Probably my favorite recent one from a aesthetic standpoint!
I would recommend this to a friend!

"Arresting" Police Station

I have completed the first two levels of this set and I am enjoying every moment of this build. There are plenty of interesting details in this building, from the "mysterious" crack in the building's foundation, to the record player in the studio apartment, this set is very well designed.
As with all the sets in this series, artistic license sometimes wins out over true-to-life representation. For instance, it is possible for the minifigs to "see" into the doughnut shop and the apartment from the police station's staircase landings, but these low walls add architectural interest (and keep the total brick count within bounds).
I am delighted with this set - it definitely exceeded my expectations.

Another great set from Lego. Wasn't sure about the small side buildings, but they look great when placed by other modulars, Good addition to our collection. Now we need Hospital to go with it.
Great set, good value. Glad we added to our collection.

Fine, but not great

I’ve built many of the modular buildings, and this one missed the mark for me. I usually get some excitement while building these when I see how pieces fit together or what goes on each floor, but not this time. The second and third floors especially didn’t have any “wow” moments.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great build until a lot of parts were missing

The police station is a fun build. I love the amount of detail that the build has and the hidden features as well. However,I had several parts that are missing so far on bag 10 there were a lot of missing pieces. I had some parts missing on the ground level but had a spear piece I used, I’m at a standstill now until missing pieces show up. 18 missing pieces is way too many, I hope there are no more missing. I guess it’s going to be another 3 weeks before I’ll know. Not very happy right now. 😢
