Good build. Design is ok

This was a very fun build. They make the 660 piece set stretch out in terms of building time. But the design could be better underneath the cockpit. It looks a bit weird with those pieces just sticking out from the body the way they do. Besides that the design was good and I’m glad I purchased this set.

Decent Build, Fun Set 4/5

I've missed out on a bunch of Lego sets, falling out of it in 2014, but now I'm back into it and collecting them full force. I love the Imperial Shuttle and have always wanted one ever since 2005 when I was a kid staring at the Imperial Inspection (7264) set in my Lego magazine. Unfortunately, I missed out on the Tydirium, which I heard was an exceptional set. This is a good replacement for a cheaper price. Some compromises were made in it that knocked a point off for me, such as the Minifigure count and the belly of the cockpit being visible, but those were my only gripes. I know Vader's arms did not come printed and would have been nice, but it was not a dealbreaker for me. I would have appreciated a cheaper price considering what was cut, but as I said, I have been looking for an Imperial Shuttle ever since I was a kid. The lever system for the interior is ingenious but ended up cutting out interior space, which isn't too much of a complaint from me since I am just putting it on display, but for others who look to buy this for play, that is something to keep in mind. I had fun building this set and recommend this to anyone who missed out on prior sets like me.

Awesome Model for a Cheaper Price!

Lego Reviewers have been criticizing this set and hating on it, but I absolutely love it. It's a great looking model and the price is pretty agreeable too! Lego's trend of making cheaper, albeit smaller ships is really good for people like me that can't buy the over one hundred dollar ships. This is a great base ship to start off with

Nice shuttle at a good price

I was glad to see that the shuttle was released and at a good price as well. As other reviewers have stated the lower price has lowered the piece count that shows in the build. The cockpit is the problem that many have complained about. I did modify mine by not installing the stud shooters and adding white tiles which cover up the dark ones; it makes the ship look much more realistic. I also built a stand from extra bricks so I could display it in flight mode. The strength of the rudder when holding the shuttle in your hand is very good and you don’t have to worry about it slipping off. The interior space is large enough for Luke and Vader and the lock is strong enough to keep the top closed when holding the rudder. It didn’t take long to build and I’m glad I got a shuttle that can display well with an AT AT or The Razor Crest.

Great Set!

I built this set very fast and it was a very fun build. I have it on my shelf with a couple of my other sets. The only thing I don't like is the gap between the cockpit and the windshield and the "chin". Other than that it is awesome!

A Good Imperial Shuttle

I think LEGO really nailed it on the looks with this shuttle. One of my favorite ships is the Lambda class shuttle, so I was very happy to see a nice looking set.
Overall, I think the build quality is great, though it feels a little looser/weaker than some of the others out there. That's probably the only reason I gave it four stars, and it still hurts to do so!
If you're looking for a good-looking, quality Star wars set, you still can't go wrong with this one.

Excellent Lambda-class T-4a shuttle

The Imperial Shuttle always looked like a cool ship. I remember piloting one in Rogue Squadron 2: Rogue Leader and being surprised at how slow it was but it had decent firepower. Since I missed out some of the previous, bigger sets I went with this model. I’d recommend it to other fans. The build is straightforward with no stickers. It looks nice on display with the mini figures of Luke and Darth Vader. The missing star comes from a lack of more details in relation to the price.
