shaky build

This set is definitely for display only. My one question is how do you pick this up to move it without it falling apart?!! It is in the middle of my dining room table and it is such a flimsy build I am scared to pick it up. I also recommend a sturdier base for this huge set. I reinforce all my sets with double sided tape and cardboard and with this one even that didn't help much. Each level barely attaches to the next which is the BIG problem with the sturdiness. I had to rebuild several things as the slightest pressure to snap things into place would cause collapse. Very pretty when done but now I am scared to try and pick it up and put it with my other sets. Also with the odd shaped buildings with hinges when you close them it creates ugly gaps. I know you were going for uniqueness but it doesn't work well for this.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Most beautiful set ever

I literally CANNOT fit all of the beautiful details in this set. The design is gorgeous. The layout and colours are astonishing! LEGO really outdid themselves on this set. I truly hope they continue the ninjago city builds because they’re gorgeous and I’d love to expand this one. I have no issues with building or the instruction pack and the poster that comes with it is amazing! Definitely word the money and adorable mini figs. Now, some downs, I wish we had more relevant characters from ninjago like Nelson, Dareth, Pixel, or Gale etc. But the other mini figures were pretty much fine.

Worth It

Great build, clearly a lot of creat thought when into designing this set. I am not a Ninjago fan but when I saw this set online I was really impressed with the level of detail and thought that went into it. After buying it, I found the set had far more detail then I could have possibly imagined.
This set is easily $100-$200 under priced, I would highly recommend it.

The set was simple to start with advanced assembly as the set went up. The set was a great adventure with many references of the show. The mini figures were awesome. This is a great addition to my collection.

Take Your Time

This was my first foray into NINJAGO, and while I know little to nothing about the show, this was absolutely fantastic. I loved every minute of it, and learned a ton of new building techniques. The modular and interior aspect of the set is unparalleled, and I found myself wishing there was a whole Steampunk line with "Ready Player One" "stacks" like living quarters. An Apocalypse-berg version. Unbeatable value and a spectacular final display piece. No wonder the City and Docks sets have skyrocketed in the aftermarket...

Never seen that before...

As I was building, I found myself saying over and over again "never seen that before." This build surprised me on nearly every page with a unique building technique that I had never considered. Also, brilliant use of the meat cleavers! =)

Ningago Garden is Impressive

The Ningago Garden set is absolutely amazing. The details this set offers is mind blowing from the hidden compartments to a secret trap door and interesting characters. My nephew is a huge Ningago fan and his loving this set. Thank you to the Lego designers for your creative and attention to detail. This set is definitely more impressive in real life!
