Dynamic build

This was such a delight to build. Keep things interesting, engaging, and cleverly put together. Not even a small Ninjago fan...well that is until I saw this at a store inside a display. Then I did some research and discovered the other two builds similar to this and was heartbroken at their now retired value and cost. Here's to hoping there is a one-off city docks for this as there was to the original as well. Either way, for myself the enjoyment building this was second only to the Barracuda Bay set, and that is due to my nostalgia for the original ship that it can become.

BEST NINJAGO SET!!!

This is the best biggest and tallest Ninjago set ever!! It is really fun to build and the instructions include a chart of the Ninjago language to decode the text on all the signs! The roofs on this set are really unique do to the type of piece used on them. On one roof they used the top of chests. My favorite roof was the “Ice Cream Planet” roof. It was made out of sushi knives, which is very creative! The play experience is not perfect but you can still play with it. The reason for this is because it’s not 100% easy to take off each floor plus there is little space to fit your hand in each building. The detail is VERY nice!
I recommend this set to those who love a challenge, detail, and beautiful builds!
Note: This was a birthday gift to me.

The Ninjago City set is my favorite Lego set of all time. I was thrilled when Lego came out with the Ninjago Docks set to go with it. Then, when this Garden set came out, I was so excited! All 3 look amazing together and can be joined in several ways. This set is not only fun to build but it is a gorgeous display piece. I love to build modular buildings; this set is like building a modular with all the fun extra exciting fantasy elements added to it. Please keep making big sets like this!!! 5 STARS!!!!!!!!

Get this set before it’s too late

There’s a reason these Ninjago city sets skyrocket after they’re discontinued. They are simply amazing and in my opinion the coolest sets Lego has ever released. The amount of detail and variety of things going on is unmatched. Trust that from the moment you open the box and spill out the contents you will be over joyed with fun and excitement. Get this one while it’s available for retail price.

NEVER BUILD LEGOS ON THE FLOOR

First off, I just want to say that this set has amazing detail and great playability. It is so cool that I, a person who has barely watched NINJAGO (and especially the new one), can look at this set and recognize at least some of the references to the show. I rated this set so high is because I'm sure missing pieces is a rare phenomenon, but it happened to me. Very, very soon into the build I realized I could not finish the build due to a piece I did not have. I am so messy and bad at spotting things (particularly when someone is trying to point something out to me) that I am willing to think that maybe I didn't see the piece, left it in the bag, or lost it. Either way I didn't have the piece. The piece wasn't a rare one so I assumed I could just find one amongst the numerous bricks I have at home, but for some reason I couldn't. Because of this I left the build alone for a while and tried to find the piece, but that was a HUGE mistake. Pieces that I had already put on the build fell off, I lost track of the page I was on in the instructions, the instructions got damaged, etc. This and more made the build too difficult and frustrating to continue, so I haven't finished it. I'm going to end this review by giving you some tips people new to LEGO can use to make sure their builds are completed. 1. If you come across a missing piece or multiple, reach out to LEGO service to request replacements unless you know FOR SURE that you can find one on your own. 2. Leave the bags you are not using in the box in number order with the ones you are going to use first at the top and the ones you are going to use last at the bottom, this will make it more convenient to just pull out bags when you need to. 3. ( my most important and final tip) NEVER BUILD LEGOS ON YHE GROUND, I have made this mistake one too many times, always make sure you have a flat, raised surface with maximum space and minimal stuff on it, this worked out AMAZING for my Hogwarts Icons: Collector's Edition set (see that review). Sorry for the long review, if you think you can build this set definitely buy it, and if any of these tips helped you out write a review on the set it helped you with and tell me (chances are I'll see it. Fantastic set for older Ninjago fans!

I'm an AFOL (Adult Fan Of LEGO), and have been building since I was young. I've watched Ninjago since its release in 2011, and have bought countless sets from the theme, but this is easily the best.
Packed with tons of fun features and references to the show, both newcomers and older fans will love the details and figures included.
This is definitely worth the asking price, especially if you have Ninjago City to display alongside it like me. I'd highly recommend purchasing this.

Great set

This is the most I have ever spent on a LEGO set ever and I am well satisfied with this build. I am not a ninjago fan, but I bought this since I love Japan and what’s great about this set is you don’t really need much insight on the show to get what’s going on in this set. There is so much detail in this set, but my favorite is the fact that they actually have icecream flavors on the counter of the icecream shop and a stack of cones on the wall! This is my favorite set ever and I hope they continue the ninjago city sets later down the line

Wow, this set is awesome! Have watched the show for a long time, and was delighted to see all of the details! The Build was amazing. This was the first LEGO set where I actually LOVED building it! This was also the first LEGO set where I actually wanted the set for the building, not the figures. I am secretly hoping that LEGO will re-release Ninjago City and Ninjago City Docks so new collectors can get them! I missed out on the first two, and LEGO make the Ship in the Bottle return, so why not Ninjago City. Just ponder that LEGO, because I would purchase it when it returns!! :)
