An incredible experience...

I have been a fan of Ninjago since 2012. Unfortunately, I wasn't there since the beginning, but a year later is pretty good, right? Seeing this set in all of it's glory is astonishing. It stands proud on my desk for anyone to see should they come into my bedroom. I still get a big giddy when I see it.
This set is a masterpiece. It's very time-consuming, and it kept me preoccupied for hours on end. I have no regrets with this build. I love it to death!
I would recommend this to a friend!

If you are a Ninjago fan you are going to 100% love this set! I have been a fan of the show since season 1 and boy there are so many little details in this build. It’s sure to give you a lot of hours of fun and throw backs to old episodes. I know it’s really expensive but for what they give it was worth it.

Wow. I really cannot tell you how excited I am to own this set. I missed out on the previous two Ninjago City sets and am SO pleased to have this one. It is a beautiful and challenging build that showcases some unique techniques.

Guys, buy this set. It is one of my all time favorite builds and the value is incredible. Such a massive build, such great playability... its just amazing. Dont sleep on this.

Ninja-GO get this amazing set!

I have been a Ninjago LEGO Fan for about a year and a half now and only started to purchase the Ninjago LEGO sets in the past year starting with some of the Legacy sets. Sadly, some of the sets I wanted that were released in the past year or two are now retired but I am happy with the ones I do have.
For my birthday (March) I received the LEGO Ninjago City Gardens (71741). I spent a little time each evening putting this together after work. I am impressed with the details within this set. There are things that you would only know about if you put this set together yourself. There are lots of little details, compartments, rooms that are not shown on the box. I was just amazed with some of the surprises.
There are a bunch of minifigures included but I do wish that Dareth (the Brown Ninja), Dr. Sanders Saunders (aka Krux) and the Mailman were included with this amazing set, it would have made this set almost perfect.
Some people have complained about the stickers. For a set this size, it is not too many. None of them were a problem to adhere to their pieces.
It did take me a little over two weeks to slowly put this set together and there was never a time for me that I felt it was to tedious or boring. The colors, the builds, the surprises that you find out while building this set really make it a fun time building.
The only problem I had is step 277 on page 163. I am missing two pieces that I will be contacting LEGO about to get a replacement for, it is the two clear window pieces.
As others have mentioned. This set can connect to the LEGO Ninjago Movie - Ninjago City (70620) and Ninjago City Dock (70657) sets. I really, really, really hope that LEGO will consider rereleasing these two sets as special editions so that people can have the opportunity to purchase them at retail cost to add to this magnificent Ninjago City Gardens set. Because many like myself do not want to pay X5-times the amount for those sets from scalpers.
I would highly recommend this set to anyone who is a fan of Ninjago. Even if you are not a fan, this set is just beautiful and would make an amazing addition to any LEGO collection.
One last thing. To really make this set 100% perfect…
I wish that LEGO included a little booklet or information sheet about what each room, building, ect is and from what Season of Ninjago from the past 10-years the inspiration came from. Or even list it with each bag section in the instructions.
I have no idea what some of the builds are and I am sure I am not alone in that. I guess I will have to search that on the internet.

very good set, but a little flimsy

The overall structure is quite unstable and flimsy compared to the previous Ninjago city sets. I feel like they used fewer studs to connect each building together, especially the museum roof, which isn't even connected to any studs. other than that I think this set is great, especially if you're putting it on display with the first ninjago city set.
