Nothing like some Buffalo trace

Pretty good stuff - make it smell more like the cologne

This beard balm is nice and thick; by putting it in the palm of my hand for ~10 seconds or so, it softens and is easier to apply. I did not have any trouble with the product melting in transit to me in SC in late summer.
It does help tame some of the fly-away beard hairs and in general makes my long-ish beard look more shiny and kempt. It is not a high hold product, however, so don't expect a miracle with shaping.
The scent smells like the regular beard balm (redwood) with a bit of the bourbon scent added - I'd prefer if it was only the bourbon scent (like the solid cologne). It's a pleasant scent overall. jives well with the bourbon cologne and soap pretty well.

Don't care for the scent

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using Duke Cannon's Beard Balm for quite some time and it is a great product. I prefer the Redwood scent. I found the Big Bourbon scent to be a bit overpowering.

My new favorite

This balm probably earned favorite status with me as soon as I opened it. Smell was amazing. After scraping out a thumbnail sized amount and working it into my palms to apply to my man mane, I knew I had made the right purchase. This stuff has the holding power to keep those stray hairs in their place. Also the scent lasts pretty much all day and then some for me. The lady of the house is quite fond of the scent herself. Congrats Duke Cannon on creating a quality beard balm that I am sure to be a repeat buyer of.
