Excellent product; please remedy packaging issue

I will start off with the only reason this product didn’t get 5 stars: packaging. I live in Texas, and my order of beard balm melted and leaked out of the tins each of the 3 times the delivery was attempted. It was very disappointing. So why still 4 stars? Because the product itself is awesome. It melts easily in your palms, goes on your beard well, holds well, and smells as awesome as a Buffalo Trace bourbon scent sounds. To me these are 2 separate elements (product vs package) that happen to converge in shipment. The product is excellent (5 stars excellent), but the lack of a true seal, allowing the product to leak everywhere was really the only downside.

My first purchase of Big Bourbon Beard Balm was great and looked forward to buying more when needed. After receiving my next order i noticed the fragrance changed, and not for the better. It now has a more waxy smell which takes away from the pleasant fragrance of the balm. It also now has sine kind of grit to it. I was told that perhaps there cold weather was responsible, but even after warning the product the texture remains the same. I probably won't purchase it again based on the fact I've tried two different orders to see if there was some kind of anomaly with the first reorder.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

No flowery or fruity girly man urban lumberjack smell here. Nice MANLY scent! The texture leaves a little to be desired at first, but it emulsifies nicely. Completely absorbs into beard and softens wiry hair easily. Not realy effective at controlling wiry beards, but is a very efective conditioner nonetheless. Now if they would just make a wax for stonger controll the lineup would be complete.
