Long lasting! Worth every penny!!

I bought this product in 2022 for my first born son. He was not an easy sleeper but this was a game changer! He used it until he outgrew it and now here I am in 2024 using it for my second born! Super easy to assemble and disassemble! Great product definitely made to last! Absolutely worth every penny!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Best useful item that eases baby’s care

I bought this bassinet before my delivery and it was a game changer for naps and getting my infant to stay asleep more hours during the night. Having to have a catheter on for 10 days after delivering from complications. This saved me a lot of stress since I had no help from friends or family after delivery. Will highly recommend.

Don’t buy

Do not recommend. Like others, we purchased this bassinet only to have it stop working “outside the warranty window”. You can only use it for a couple of months until your baby grows out of it so even though we planned on using it for multiple kids, it was only usable for 4 months max… We should have just went with the Snoo for the price we would have to pay to be able to use it for it for two kids.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Terrible product replaced 3 times grinding sound

After a month it started rattling and I had to get it replaced. I had to replace it 3 times total because the clanking sound happened in all of them and I’m sure it would have happened again but my baby grew out of it. We’re using it for our second but don’t turn it on because the sound is back and I don’t want to try to have it replaced again and be missing it for 2 weeks. Wish I didn’t spend d the money and got something else. Great customer service though but terrible product.

Fifth kid and first time using a smart bassinet. I splurged on this because my other babies did not like any bassinet we tried and I need sleep. This bassinet has been an absolute lifesaver! I wish this when I had my first!

Baby Sleep Game Changer

If you love the mamaRoo Infant Seat, then this is the bassinet for you. I am a first time mom. When we first brought our baby home, we used a bassinet that had a vibration function, but no soothing motion. We were lucky if our baby slept 2 hours at a time, the vibration alone did nothing to soothe our baby. After a few days, we switched to the mamaRoo Sleep Bassinet (which I was given to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel). The mamaRoo bassinet was a lifesaver. Its soothing features include vibration, motion (similar to the motion on the mamRoo Infant Seat), and sounds. The motion is by far the best feature. With the mamaRoo bassinet, our baby started sleeping 4+ hours a night!!!!
The height on the mamaRoo bassinet is adjustable, so I was able to adjust the height to be even with my mattress to see my baby at night from my bed. The mattress in the bassinet is firm and flat. The sides of the bassinet are mesh, providing good airflow and allowing me to see baby. Therefore, I know my baby is safe at night, sleeping comfortably on his back.
I found that the tree swing motion at low speed combined with vibration was the most soothing to my baby. Recommend that you start the motion before putting baby in the bassinet, as the motion is a little jerky when it first starts. As for the sounds, they are soothing, but I wish they included the heartbeat sound that the mamaRoo infant seat has, as that is my baby’s favorite. Also, I found that when the motion and vibration are used simultaneously, the motor makes a sporadic grinding noise. However, the noise does not bother baby, and it is not loud enough to wake me up. The noise is not a big deal but it is a little annoying.
The functions for the bassinet are controlled via a touch panel. There is also an app, but I did not use the app due to connectivity issues. It took multiple attempts to set up the Bluetooth connection between the app on my phone and the bassinet. Once set up, the app frequently lost connection with the bassinet. I found it easier to just use the touch panel on the bassinet. I positioned the bassinet right next to the bed. At night if my baby starts to fuss, I can just reach over and adjust the motion and sound settings on the bassinet.
Overall, this is a great bassinet. I am able to see my baby from the bed. I know he is safe with the mesh sides and firm flat mattress. The soothing motion, vibration, and sound helps him sleep for longer periods of time at night. The longer baby sleeps the longer I sleep! Highly recommend.

Safe-Sleep Environment With Motion & Sounds

We were given the 4moms mamaRoo sleep bassinet to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. We were so happy our baby enjoyed his mamaRoo infant seat, but struggled with him falling asleep in it. It was frustrating to have to move him from his infant seat to a bassinet to sleep. Just like the mamaRoo infant seat, the MamaRoo sleep bassinet easily soothes our baby to sleep. We are thrilled to be able to utilize the same movements and sounds that lull him to sleep in the infant seat in the safe sleeping environment offered by the mamaRoo sleep bassinet. We set the bassinet to rock-a-bye, turn on the vibration, add in the noise of crashing waves and within minutes our little boy is sound asleep.
We prefer to use the mamaRoo sleep bassinet downstairs in our house for day sleeping. The mesh sides offer visibility from across the room. The bassinet has some fan noise that lasts for 10-20 minutes after turning off the motion. For some, this likely wouldn’t be a problem in the bedroom, but something to be aware of for those who prefer silence while sleeping. The timer is a convenient feature of the user-friendly 4moms app which helps with this situation. You can run the bassinet motions and sounds while the baby is falling asleep and have it turn off automatically after a set amount of time. The app gives you the ability to easily turn on, turn off or change settings on the bassinet from anywhere.
One of our favorite features is that with this bassinet, you have the flexibility of using any swaddle, sleep sack or baby clothes. You have quick access to change your baby during those middle of the night spit-ups and explosion diapers. You can easily change the bassinet sheet and use any standard bassinet sheet of your choosing to match your style and decor.
4moms continually provides exceptional quality baby products. We are happy to be using their mamaRoo infant seat, breeze plus playard and new mamaRoo sleep bassinet in our home.
