Stopped working and had many other issues

The bassinet had minor issues from the very beginning. It stopped gliding smoothly. The vibration sound was awful and loud. The sound options would beep extremely loud randomly when turning them on waking up my child. So I stopped using the sounds. The gliding would run smoothly sometimes and when it didn’t, it didn’t affect my child’s sleep because it was minor but significant because of the price of this bassinet. The bassinet completely stopped moving when my child turned 4 months even though he was not even close to the weight limit. I emailed with all of the information about the issue and the bassinet as well as a video. I never heard back. Do not buy if you don’t want to waste your money!

Extremely loud

We have been using this for the last few nights and all the functionality is pointless because when it’s on it is SO loud. The vibration setting was The only one we could use without waking her from the noise. The second time using the vibration it made this unbearable shaking noise and again woke her up instantly from a sound sleep. The whole reason we got this was for the movements but if we can’t use that it’s just an overpriced bassinet.

Because of feedback like yours, we were able to identify the reason for the sound issue you describe. It was caused by a variation in the vibration mode. We made the decision to remove this mode and pulled back the previous version of the bassinet from ALL of our retail partners. This change has remedied the sound issue that you encountered.

So horrible!

We bought the bassist almost 3 months ago, we’ve had not had any luck with it helping with ANY kind of easy nights! It has nothing to do with our baby not sleeping! The bassist makes such a horrible rattling noice! We called got a replacement, the new one came it. Same night it sounded like a lawnmower, called got a 3rd one, same thing!!!! So over it!!!! Spent almost $400 buck for something that isn’t even working right!

Love/hate relationship

I wanted to love this, as I am a 4moms fan. After 3 months of using it, I feel I can write an honest review. And as many of these reviews seem to state, I was not given this by 4moms. I purchased this with my own money. While thinking of the things I love about it, the only think I can say is that it provides safe sleep. This bassinet has SO much potential, but it falls short. The Bluetooth option is there, however it almost never connects like my other devices. The movement options are great but when you select one or even switch between movements, it makes such a startling motion that it jolts the baby. Don’t even get me started on the white noise. It all sounds the same and you can barely hear it anyway over the sound of the bassinet itself. I ended up buying a separate noise machine. You cannot see through the mesh sides at all as the mesh is too thin. The most ridiculous part is the 4 hour timer. The whole point of this is to get your baby to sleep longer. Their solution is to wake up after 4 hours to restart the timer. And when you do restart it, the whole bassinet jolts and rewakes the baby! It is not a smooth movement. I could see allowing the 4 hour timer when you’re trying to wean baby from the bassinet but what about the first few months? It makes no sense. This was not thought through at all. I wanted to like this so badly but for almost $400, it is a stationary bassinet in our bedroom. None of the bells and whistles that it claimed to have. I expected a lot more!

Does not work

Received my bassinet today and the moment I assembled it and turned it on I noticed it wasn’t working. Whenever I would select a movement it would shut the whole machine off. Sucks because we were really excited for this product.

Amazing when it works

It’s impossible to get ahold of the care team to get a replacement. It’s been almost three months and it works amazing and then it just knocks and knocks and wakes the baby up. The constant knocking is so so loud. And it makes a jostling movement when it knocks. I’ve had so much trouble with it and I haven’t managed to get a replacement. It will work great and then it will knock in the middle of the night and won’t stop. I just want a replacement. I would recommend it over and over without the knocking

Loud, bright and jerky

I was gifted this for my first baby. The very first thing I noticed was how jerky the bassinet was when it turned on. It would wake my baby up EVERY TIME. When my baby was brand new and sleeping through everything, the lights on the machine weren’t an issue. Now that we need darkness, the power button light is so bright and never shuts off. It lights up our entire room. The machine itself is so loud when it runs - the motor clicks and shakes and the fan is very loud. Finally the mattress they give you is complete crap. It’s flattened so much now that I can feel the bars underneath. I tried to pad it under the sheet but couldn’t do much while still being safe. My son sleeps better in his pack and play than this. I registered for this as a less expensive alternative for the SNOO but wouldn’t recommend anyone else go down this road. Either spend the money on the SNOO or save your money all together. I won’t even give this away to some of my friends who are expecting because it’s just not worth it. Really disappointed. One star because it was easy to assemble - I guess.

So disappointed - waste of money!

Super excited to receive this for our 2nd baby, but about 2.5 months after he was born, the bassinet started making a loud clunk every time it changed directions. The noise was so loud it woke me up when it started. After unplugging and other small adjustments didn't fix it, we contacted 4moms. They made us jump through a multi-step process that was cumbersome in order to replace it. Frustrating to spend that much time dealing with our faulty bassinet when I had a toddler and baby to care for. They sent a replacement bassinet and just a few weeks into use, the new bassinet just stopped moving. It would start and then freeze. Please note, our baby was still well under 6 months and well below the weight limit during both of these issues. Now we have a bassinet that looks cool but doesn't actually do what it is meant to. I have since gone back to work and have no time to deal with 4moms process again to replace, so I have just given up. I had been super excited about this gift from family, such a waste of money!
