Purchased this in hopes for longer stretches for our 2 month old. It definitely helps throughout the night and if she is having a hard time falling asleep at bedtime. We usually don’t even need to go in because of the bassinet. I would recommend this to any new family and wish I had it with my first two children!

A bassinet with some extra features

Overall this is a nice bassinet but it wasn't magical for our family.
Our newborn baby was not soothed by the motions of the bassinet since it seemed our baby liked only a side to side motion rather than the up and down. The vibration was a nice feature though I would have liked there to be a higher setting. Our baby was soothed by the vibration at times.
I did feel completely safe putting my baby in the bassinet with the firm sleeping surface which follows safe sleeping guidelines. With the mesh sides and adjustable height I was able to view my baby while lying in bed, which was very nice.
The app was helpful to control the bassinet from another room but sometimes the bluetooth connection was lost. I'm unsure if that was due to my device or an issue with the bassinet. I often defaulted to using the app to control the bassinet rather than the interface on the bassinet itself. The bassinet interface was a bit touchy, having to hit the buttons just right to get them to engage.
My husband and I noticed there seemed to be various mechanical sounds as the bassinet moved, as if some internal parts weren't aligning just right. That was a little concerning to me.
I was given this bassinet to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. All opinions are my own.

No sound

I waited for weeks for this product to come. We put it together and there is no sound! It’s brand new out of the package.

Buyer Beware!

Look elsewhere. Nice try, but falls short on major design flaws.
1. The power button shines right in the baby’s face at night (can’t shut it off or dim it without pulling the plug out)
2. While in vibrate mode and a movement mode, the plastic rubs together and causes a very unsettling noise.
3. Randomly when in movement mode, the same unsettling noise will start - rubbing plastic. So first we couldn’t use vibrate because of the noise, and now we can’t even use the movement modes
4. The sound will just stop playing randomly. Awesome
I’m sorry, but for this price - unacceptable. Lack of quality control. We were going to buy the swing and pack/play, but will move on to a more trusted brand

Very Frustrated after 4 months!

We have two boys (5 years and 4 months). We fell in love with the Mamaroo with our oldest boy along with the first version of the Tub and the Faucet Temp Gauge. So you could say we are loyal customers. We were beyond excited to hear of the Mamaroo Sleep Bassinets arrival just before the birth of our youngest boy.
So we will start at the arrival of the Mamaroo Sleep Bassinet. Assembled and started it up and connected the app. It worked great and had high hopes. Then the first nights after we came home with our baby a few issues stared. The High pitched noises while running were enough to make me crazy. Thank goodness for the pure exhaustion and that I just fell asleep and did not hear them. Then as if some miracle they stopped about the one month mark. Then about the 3 month mark the Vibration feature stopped working and the clicking sound started. Our baby is now 13.5 pounds, well below the max limit, and when he is not centered or towards the rear of the Bassinet it makes a loud click during movement. Again we worked around the issue and just made sure to place our baby properly as to not make the few hours I get to sleep between feedings not so annoying and difficult to sleep. Then today the sounds just quit. When placing our baby down for a nap I tried to play any of the sounds and nothing.
So after only FOUR months, only the movements work, but with issues there also. Two of the three functions offered don't work and the one that does work, is driving me crazy with a clicking sound. I feel like this product may have been rushed to the public and your customers too early. After reading several reviews we are not alone with issues, almost like ours may get worse and I'm left wondering how long until it turns into a 40 pound decoration with no functions period. We love the brand, products, and amazing ideas you have. We only hope that now we can hopefully come to a solution with your company through the one year warranty or something else.
Our baby Lucas is only 4 month old and 13.5 pounds. Again well below the limits and well before he out grows what we thought would be a loved product. We still use all our 4moms products from our oldest boy (5 years old) with no issues. We only hoped that this wold last the same. So very Disappointed and Frustrated!
We hope to be able to post that this has been resolved and we are happy again! We want to recommend this to everyone!

SO NOISY!!!

I’ve had this for a month and the first 2 nights it worked great, then it started making so much noise. It clicks, squeaks, and grinds whenever the motion is on. It’s extremely loud and I can’t use it because 1) the noise drives me insane and 2) it wakes my baby up.
Another annoying thing is that the motion will shut off at 4 hours, waking the baby up that was settled.
I would not recommend this product, if I could upload a video to show I would. Don’t waste your money.

Best bassinet!

We bought this bassinet right when it came out and we love it! We were a little intimidated about sleep with our first baby but she has slept so well in it and the motions help her get back to sleep when mommy is too sleepy to bounce! We plan to use it for all of our babies. (Also, we originally thought the bassinet was too tall but then discovered you can adjust the legs and then it was perfect next to our bed!)

I received a bassinet that is defective. It will not perform any of the motions when I press on them. It moves barely an inch and then stops.
