Bluetooth feature for sound option is lacking

When you press the power button on the bassinet you’re able to play sounds without movement, however, when turning it on through the app there is no option for sound-only. You have to turn on both features, then manually turn the motion off. I find this disrupts my sleeping baby more often than not! For a tech advanced product (and the price) it would be nice if you could play sounds remotely through the app without also having the motion turn on.

My baby sleeps!

My first son loved the mamaRoo infant seat but slept often in a bed that has since been recalled for new safe-sleeping guidelines. I knew I wanted a flat sleeping surface for baby #2 and this was the logical, and financially sensible, solution. Baby #2 sleeps great in it. I don’t mind the 4hr limit- he wakes up every 3hrs to nurse anyways. Besides, at some point he has to learn to sleep in a bed that doesn’t rock and sway and bounce. The time limit will help ensure he is weaned from motion as he weans from night feedings.

My little one is 3 weeks old and he is not really into the movements of the bassinet. We are using the sounds though that’s why I’m only giving 3 stars because it seems like the movements are a little to rough for him at such a young age. Hopefully he will like them when he gets a little bit older. I do like the security of the bassinet. I feel comfortable leaving the room with the baby monitor. The walls are high and the mesh around the entire bassinet gives me peace of mind that he will not suffocate if his face goes up against the sides. Even though my little guy is only 3 weeks old he moves a lot in his sleep.

Can't be found via bluetooth on app

Mamaroo bassinet can't be found on the app on either my husband or my phone. It's very annoying at night because it makes the timer feature useless and the was the main reason we purchased the bassinet. We have other mamaroo products that we never have problems with connecting with the app. So not sure what the issue is.

Great..if it worked like it says is supposed to

Was working for us up until our child reached 17 lbs. The bassinet started creaking like it was stressing trying to work with her in the bassinet. Now our baby girl is 18lbs and will only work for about 1min before it completely stops moving. If the product is supposed to work for children up to 25lbs then this should not be occurring. Really sucks when I cant use it to help rock her back to sleep and or keep her sleep. False advertising by saying it works up to 25lbs.

Helped newborn stay asleep for longer stretches

Worked wonders for us. Our 1 month old newborn entered a strange sleep pattern where she refused to stay down for more than a half hour and NEEDED to sleep on us. We tried all the different swaddles and it didn’t help. Since buying this, she gives us a 4-5 hour stretch each night (hoping for longer stretches soon).
