Just okay, not revolutionary

It’s a safe but expensive place to lay our baby down, that’s about it. The Musical sound quality is poor. The vibration function makes a horribly loud noise so we cannot use that anymore. It has a cheap plastic quality to it. For something that cost 300$, I expected more. I think we would have liked this product more if they released the update/improved version after all the bugs and kinks are worked out. We also have an easy baby so the product doesn’t seem revolutionary to us, maybe it be worth the cost if we had a fussy baby?? Who knows! Will try to sell to a desperate, sleep deprived family who needs it more and is willing to put up with the kinks. If Mamaroo wants advice, make the rim softer and malleable (like theHalo).

Not functioning

I purchased this bassinet because I loved the motion & sound functions it provided. My son loved the bassinet especially the sound function. It really helped soothe him to sleep. After a month, the bassinet would no longer power on. I contacted their customer service & was told that I needed a new power cable which was sent to me. It took a week & half to come. I was told this delayed shipping was due to Covid. I received the power cable & the unit is powered on & the motion worked but not the sound. I contacted customer service again & was instructed that I would now receive a new bassinet. The bassinet took a week to come & my husband set it up today only to find that the sound feature barely functions. The volume is so low it’s barely audible. Now what ?! I just contacted customer service again but my son is already two months old & everyone knows bassinets aren’t used for a long stretch of time .. by the time this situation is recitified I won’t even have use for it anymore. Very disappointed in the quality of this product !!

Terrible product

I do not recommend this bassinet. Our daughter loved her mamaroo so we thought we’d get her this. At first we loved it. After 2 weeks I started to understand the other negative reviews I had read. It randomly shuts off, even with the 4 hour timer set. It will shut off at 15 mins, 5 mins, 2 hours, you name it. When it would shut off it would wake the baby. The motor in it also makes a loud humming noise when you turn the bed off and there’s a loud knocking noise now while using the bassinet now. For the cost of this bassinet it should not have these problems, especially after 2 weeks!

NOT worth it!!

Was really excited to receive this bassinet for our son. However, it definitely doesn’t live up to the hype. The vibration feature makes the whole bassinet shake and it’s so loud it make the plastic make noise and it wakes up my son. Definitely not worth the price. And we can’t even return it.

Poor Quality, not worth the money

I bought this after being desperate for my little one to sleep better at night, and this is a giant waste of money. The bluetooth app only works about 50% of the time, the vibration setting has deteriorated to the point that it barely works, and my husband and I both noticed a burning smell coming from it - we think the motor is burning up so now we've unplugged it and it's just a really expensive stationary bassinet that I can't even rock manually. There were lots of rave reviews when I purchased, and then after having issues I went back to find that many people were experiencing the same dysfunction that I am. Now my baby is almost too big to sleep in it and I just want my money back rather than messing with warranty parts.

App constantly crashes

The bassinet is noisy, the motor grinds and the app constantly crashes. I’m incredibly disappointed. I wouldn’t recommend, I totally regret choosing this bassinet - a total waste.
I haven’t been able to use the app for weeks without it crashing the second I choose bassinet. I have to turn the bed on before I put my son down as it jerks when it starts, startling him awake. Also - it seriously looks a an old piece of white plastic lawn furniture. Keep shopping, I’m sure you’ll find something better.

i had worst experience with this bassinet

App is terribly frustrating

We got the bassinet because of the app function and the ability to set a timer. We set up the bassinet which was very easy, but the Bluetooth would not connect to either my husband's or my phone. We both have newer phones, which apparently is a problem. We finally got it connected to an older phone we had lying around, but now the bassinet is on its phone instead of being on one that we actually use. We are very disappointed in the software for this app, since we paid so much for the bassinet. We are hoping the app continues to work on the older phone, and hopefully the software will catch up with the newer phones. :(
