I love the mamaRoo bassinet, but it’s doesn’t do anything for my daughter. If anything it was wakes her up. She like it when she’s awake, it keeps her calm while I get things done. Also maybe they could make the bed part a little more plush. What I do love about it is that it’s very quiet. And it doesn’t take up much space. Maybe it will work for her when she gets a little bigger.

Great but some issues

Bought this before my daughter was born (she's now 3 months). She sleeps up to 6-8 hrs through the night in it! A true lifesaver.
Would have given it 5 stars, except my bassinet has some issues, like the white noise cutting off abruptly and waking the baby up.
Also, the 4 hour limit, while a standard feature for the Mamaroo swing, is really not appropriate for the bassinet. If I don't wake up in the middle of the night to restart it, the baby starts to wake up (thankfully I can do so without getting up, thanks to the App). 4moms should really rethink this feature.

My husband and I purchased the bassinet as a more affordable alternative to a more popular brand bassinet. The style and contemporary style makes it easy on the eyes. All of the features were a huge bonus in purchasing, not to mention the Bluetooth capabilities. Once we had our baby our first night was loooonng, ya know new life adjustments. Our baby was particular in not being swaddled, she always found a way out. So I’m using the bassinet her reflexes could not be soothed with vibration or motion. We had to instead place our dock a tot within the bassinet to give her a sun feeling. We are well aware this is not advised, but it worked for us in her first two months. Overall the bassinet is fine. I don’t think the mattress is very thick and so when using vibration mode it really shook our baby. So now we no longer use vibration mode. The swaying motions came in handy from time to time, but the unit becomes a tad loud when in motion. What he use the most is the sound on the unit. I do wish the volume options were in a wider range. Lastly the touchscreen features are ideal, but I’m always having to press the buttons twice and extra firm. I don’t think this is the intent. For the price we paid it’s works, but it’s definitely more hype than actual
