The Limo of all bassinets

A big thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this bassinet. This is the limo of all bassinets. It glides, rocks and rolled my baby to sleep so well that I had to wake him for feedings. The size is the standard size for any bassinet. That being said I anticipate that my baby will probably outgrow it in 4-5 months. The bassinet is a little heavy and does not have wheels to transfer from one room (or side of the bed) to another. Set up was simple with easy to follow directions. Pairing the bassinet to my android device was also very simple without any glitches. The digital motion icons on the side panel are bright and therefore easy to read. I placed the bassinet next to my bed therefor, the side panel motion icons where more convenient for me to use manually rather than using the phone app to operate the bassinet. I liked that you can adjust the speed of each motion. This bassinet also has four different sound options however, the heart beat sound was not one of the four options which this should have been included if it is truly going to mimic movement and sounds while baby was in the womb. The bassinet mattress is a little thin however I think this is to facilitate a safer/firm sleeping surface. I also liked that the bassinet has mesh sides for easy visualization of the baby. The design is very simple, but sturdy; basic white without any color choices or design pattern. The additional storage basket is big and deep enough to hold plenty of essentials: diapers, wipes, swaddle blanket, burp cloths.The AC plug is a little short so unless you plan on placing this directly next to a wall with an outlet then you may need an extension cord.

Great features and safe sleep!

I was excited to receive the mamaroo bassinet from the stellar product testing panel.
This bassinet has so many features. It’s hard to just pick one as my favorite. It has 5 different motions with adjustable speed, vibration, and different sounds to help lul baby to sleep. My son was particularly fond of the car ride motion and the rock a bye. The storage basket underneath is convenient for diapers and wipes for those late night diaper changes. I was also able to adjust the height so it was comfortable to reach by my bed. The thing I love most about this bassinet is the mesh surrounding. It’s great for airflow and I was able to see my son without getting out of bed. I also liked being able to control the motion, vibration, and sounds from my phone. The only issue I had with this bassinet was my toddler. He just turned three and thinks it’s fun to play with his brothers “ toys”. He easily learned how to turn the bassinet on during the day. He actually got his fingers stuck once he turned the motion on. Since this Incident he hasn’t messed with it. So just be mindful if you have a small curious toddler .

Daughter loved it while awake

First, I love the look of the bassinet, looks simple but does a lot. Several different motions to choose from with different speeds and vibration. Think my daughter likes all the motions. Initially I couldnt get the sound to work but unplugged the plug from bassinet and plugged it back in and that fixed the problem. As far as helping my 2 month old sleep better, the motions tended to wake her up while sleeping. She prefers to sleep in it while not moving. But while awake, she loves the motions and will stay in there for a while so is really great to use during the day. I like using the app however the one day the app kept dropping but made it convenient to change the motions from afar. Loved the visibility of the bassinet and the size, not too big or small. All in all, really like the bassinet but use it more for my daughters enjoyment while awake. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this bassinet.

“Rest” assured you and your baby will love this!

I was given this mamaRoo sleep bassinet to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel, and let’s just say that mommy (and baby) couldn’t be happier with it! The first thing my husband and I liked was just how easy it was to assemble- no nails, screws, allen wrenches or labor required. We set it up in basically under a minute. I also really like that it came with a firm, flat sleeping surface and mesh sides on the basket, which provides ideal airflow to my son. Since you can also see through the mesh, my husband and I have far more peace of mind that he is safe and sound vs. our previous bassinet from a different brand that did not have that feature. This bassinet also has 5 motions with 5 speed options (even an option for vibrations) so we have been able to try the different options and find the one that my son likes the most, which is the car ride motion at the slowest speed - it puts him right to sleep, which lets mommy and daddy go right to sleep too! Of all the really great features, the absolute best thing about this bassinet is that you can control the motion, vibrations, sounds and even set a timer through the 4moms app. The app makes it so convenient to set everything up without having to get out of bed during the night. Before receiving this bassinet, we tried 2 other brands and my son wouldn’t fall asleep in either of them. Luckily we received this one from the Stellar Product Testing Panel, and life with baby has been much easier that I don’t know what I would have done without it. So when it comes time to start thinking about another baby in the future, I will use this review to remind my husband just how easy things were thanks to this bassinet :)

Safe Sleep for Baby and Peace of Mind for Parents

Let me start by saying 4Moms has done it again! And by that I mean, making an awesome product that truly helps not only moms, but babies as well. When I received the mamaRoo Sleep Bassinet from the Stellar Product Testing Panel, I was absolutely excited to try it out because of the experience I’ve had when using their other products. The first thing I noticed when bringing the box inside was that it wasn’t heavy at all and upon opening the box, I could see why. All the pieces were very lightweight yet still such great quality and felt very sturdy! My first favorite feature about this was the assembly! Let’s face it, we’re busy parents and when we buy a baby product the last thing we want is a million pieces, tools required that you don't have on hand, and confusing instructions. Well with the mamaRoo Sleep Bassinet it was far from that and honestly probably the easiest baby product I’ve ever assembled, I didn't even need tools! It was just snapping the legs in and plugging it in, so the entire unboxing and setup took less than 10 minutes. Since it's easy to take apart you can take it apart and move it around the house with ease but it’s honestly not too heavy where you can still just give it a lift and move it around. Another favorite feature about this bassinet is the height adjust option! I love this because I have a low bed frame and with the adjustment at the lowest option it’s perfect arms reach space from the baby if you choose to put it bedside. Or if you’re like me and have an over-curious toddler, the highest option was awesome to have too because it kept her out of reach from the toddler and kept her at a perfect height to pick her up while standing without having to bend over too much. To add on to the convenience, it even has an awesome Bluetooth feature that allows you to control the bassinet right from your phone through their app! This feature came in handy for all those times the baby got a bit fussy and I didn’t want to step into the room and mess with the buttons. I go to school full time online so the convenience of being able to use the app and get the baby to calm down without having to step away from the office was a lifesaver. So a little more into the features of the bassinet itself… the fact that it is made so sleep safe is amazing. The pad itself inside the bassinet is thin and firm allowing the baby to still rest comfortable but safely. It has mesh sides all long the bassinet as well so you're able to see the baby and know that they’re getting airflow. At night this was very handy because I was able to sleep in peace knowing that my baby was safe in there and it was following safe sleep guidelines. This ended up becoming her primary sleeping spot which was a space saver because we're in a one-bedroom apartment. As for the motions and sounds, they worked like a charm! They kept her calm, put her to sleep, and she enjoyed being there even when she wasn’t asleep. She’s always falling asleep in the car so when we’re home and I put the bassinet on the car ride motion with the vibration on, she falls asleep just the same. The only complaint I have about this bassinet is that sometimes the bassinet would make sounds like the plastic vibrating against another piece of plastic during the motions when the vibration is on. It would end up sounding like a grinding noise, and while it didn’t wake up the baby, I would have to turn off the vibration for a bit which would suck because she likes that feature. Anyways, back to the positive, whenever she fusses the white noise calms her down and the rock-a-bye motion soothes her. There are 5 different motions, 5 different speeds for the motions, 4 different sounds, and 2 different vibration modes, allowing tons of combinations to find the perfect match for your baby. The bassinet even has a timer that allows up to 4 hours of motion and then shuts off for you. So in summary, this bassinet is a parent must have and I am so thankful to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this bassinet.

I’m so thrilled the Stellar Review Panel provided me with this bassinet to test.
This bassinet is sturdy, safe and will last my baby until he’s ready to transition to a crib. It’s safe for up to 25 pounds or until baby can start to pull up. That’s a much higher rating than other bassinets, but this one is a tank! The bottom is super sturdy with solid, thick legs. You do not need to worry about wobbling or bumping this one!
I was so pumped to see the different movement types offered by the mamaRoo sleep. As moms can probably relate, my baby falls asleep in seconds in the car. My tired, tired heart was so happy to see a car ride setting! I had to force myself to try the rest of the settings for the purpose of this review, but as I expected, baby loved car ride the most. I also love love love that this has a built in white noise. I love sleeping with a white noise as much as baby does, and since he’s bunking in for a few months it’s great for everyone’s sleep, and I worry less about making too much noise and waking him.
The touchpad is simple and easy to use, but even easier is the app where you can turn on, off, change volume, sounds and motion. The app allows a time to be set for up to 4 hours, and once you reach those much needed nights where baby sleeps longer you can restart motion or noise in the app. Not only do you not need to worry about approaching and waking baby but the real benefit is you don’t need to get out of bed to do it
The Stellar Review Panel also provided an optional storage basket that attaches to the legs. It’s perfect for storing diapers, sheets, extra clothes or whatever you need overnight. This bassinet isn’t light or easy to move so you’ll want whatever you need to be right there...there’s no taking this one room to room.
The mamaRoo Sleep’s mesh sides make it easy to take a peek at baby from across the room without having to disrupt baby or parents too much, and help create a safer sleep environment. I feel better knowing there’s always airflow in the sleep area and baby is more comfortable, too. Having a 4moms safe sleep environment with the benefits of the mamaRoo that has saved the time and sanity of so many moms is hugely beneficial. I seriously didn’t know how much I wanted or needed something like this until trying it - and I would recommend this to anyone. I’m not sure if 4moms is planning on making replacement mattresses (to increase longevity of the unit) or sheets (in different designs or to save on emergency laundry loads) available for purchase, but I would happily snatch them up if they become available!
Last. I admit to panicking a little when the box came and it was clear assembly was required, but clipping on the legs and snapping the mesh sides into place took less than 5 minutes. It was super simple and can be done quickly. You can open the box and have baby sleeping less than 15 minutes later!

I am so impressed by the mamaRoo sleep bassinet. It has amazing features that include type of motion, speed, sound and vibration. The car ride motion on low speed with the fan sound was our favorite combination! It really helped soothe our baby boy to sleep who suffers from gas. This bassinet helped him relax and sleep longer. I felt this product was safe for our child. The flat firm surface and the mesh sides really helped me feel comfortable as I was able to see him. The adjustable height was a fantastic feature as well. Being able to control the mamaRoo sleep bassinet from my phone was a fantastic idea. It saves me from getting up multiple times throughout the night. This bassinet is unlike anything I’ve seen, thank you for thinking of everything!

Versatile, Easy to Use and Functional Bassinet

I received the MamaRoo Sleep Bassinet from the Stellar Product Testing Panel when my son was just two months old. This bassinet has so many awesome features and it is very easy to use.
Hands down my favorite part is the mesh walls of the bassinet. It made seeing my little one easy from anywhere in the room. It also gave me peace of mind knowing that when he learns to roll the mesh wall won't block his airways at all. The shape and size of the bassinet is great for my little one. He is almost 3 months now and just over 12 lbs. He has plenty of room to grow too. I do wish the sleeping pad were a little thicker for comfort. It seems very thin. That is always one of my biggest frustrations with bassinets or pack-n-plays. The bed pads aren't comfortable at all.
There are several motions and speeds to choose from. My son really liked the kangaroo and car ride motion. There are also white noise sounds and vibration options. I loved the fact that I could control the bassinet functions from an app. It meant that I never even had to go into the room to turn off anything. I could do it from my phone, or even set a timer for it to automatically shut off!
I did notice that even when not turned on the bassinet had a low humming noise. Just barely loud enough to think that it was on, but not loud enough to bother us. I just unplugged it from the wall when we weren't using it in order to save power.
One other feature that I love is the optional storage basket under the bassinet. I attached mine right away and I loved it! It's the perfect size to hold diapers, wipes, a few outfits, binky and so much more. I really liked that it was optional so it didnt have to hang there if too didnt want it to. I also liked that it was higher off the ground which made getting my vacuum underneath it soooo easy. There was also a clip to route the power chord through to keep everything tucked away nice and neatly!
I love the fact that you have multiple height options. I did find this feature a little more daunting to use than some of the other options. To change the height you have to remove pieces if each leg. So if it was something you needed to adjust often it would get frustrating. But for a one time change or every now and then it's a nice feature to have.
