Amazing Bassinet!!

I received this product through the Stellar Product Testing Panel in return for an honest review. I received the 4moms Mamaroo Bassinet rather quickly. It can in 2 boxes - one for the bassinet and another for the storage basket that attaches underneath. No tools were needed to assemble the bassinet, which I love! The bassinet was very easy to put together and only took about 10 minutes. I love that the height is adjustable, I have it at its highest setting to make it easier for myself & my husband to place our son in. The brightest height also helps to keep my 2 year old from trying to climb in. I absolutely love all of the different movement settings that you can choose from, and so does my 1 month old son - his favorite is the Rock-a-Bye motion. I love that there is also a sound machine built in! The app that can be used along with the bassinet is great and makes it easier to change the settings without having move from where you are. I would highly recommend this item for all moms!

I received the mamaRoo sleep bassinet as a part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. As soon as I found out what was being sent to me, I was so excited. The information I found on the internet seemed like it would be an amazing addition to bedtime. I give the product a 4/5 stars all in all and I’m going to lay out every pro and con as to why I have the product the rating that I did.
Pros:
1- aesthetic look of the bassinet. I absolutely dread the old school bassinets with the canopy on the top. This bassinet is very sleek and modern looking without looking like some crazy, robotic contraption. Looks scored a 5/5.
2- size and footprint in my room. My original bassinet I was using before receiving this one was quite large and barely fit on the side of my bed. When I first got the box for the mamaRoo sleep I thought there was no way that it would fit on the side of my bed and was quite disappointed. But to my surprise it fit better than my old one!
3- storage basket. My old bassinet had no place for storage so this was a nice little addition. Especially since online the website said this was an item that had to be bought separately so it was a nice surprise to get it.
4- baby was able to fall asleep in it rather than being put to sleep then be put to bed. The rocking motion also helped soothe him back to sleep in the middle of the night.
5- complete mesh siding. Most other bassinets have MOSTLY mesh siding but this is the first I’ve seen that was completely mesh all the way around and it was very nice to have that piece of mind. Especially because my baby is definitely a scooter and loves to be up against the sides.

Cons-
1- the motion was sometimes a little loud in the middle of the night in a quiet house. Also, after running the motion for 20+ minutes, sometimes a grinding noise would start. This grinding noise startled baby awake quite a few times. It kind of sounded like when you pull out a wooden chair on wood or tile floors and it makes that horrible grinding noise. I figured it was two plastic pieces rubbing together.
2- the rain noise sounded a little choppy on this bassinet and that’s usually baby’s favorite white noise, but he ended up enjoying the ocean sound so it wasn’t that big of a deal.
3- the storage basket was kind of in an awkward place, especially if pushed up next to your bed.
4- the way to turn the volume and speed up & down. On the control panel on the bassinet, to turn the volume down you have to go through all the different settings first. Ex: if you have the volume on two and want to turn it down to one, you have to go up to three then four then off and finally touch the button one more time to get it back on and at volume one. Same goes for the speeds of the motion. Much easier to navigate on the app though.

In my personal opinion, the pros of the bassinet far out weigh the cons of the bassinet and it will be a product I continue using with this baby and most likely with babies I have in the future as well. The only thing I’m worried about is weaning him to a crib in the near future and him missing the motion feature.

Great modern bassinet!

The mamaRoo sleep bassinet ... I’m in love!
First, out of the box it’s very simple, easy to put together! My four year old and I did it in a matter of 15 minutes or so. Nothing too complicated ❤️ I’m completely impressed with the sturdiness, size and height of this bassinet.
The sleep area is roomy, firm, mesh sides keep it ventilated & make seeing baby that much easier. It’s also taller then a traditional bassinet, which is nice... I had it set up next to a counter, the top rail of the bassinet is about even with the counter top.
Now for the fun part! It has sooo many setting options!!! Speed, type of motions, sounds, vibrations, timer & a panel “lock” to keep super helpful siblings from resetting! There’s a sturdy big basket under the sleep area that’s great for blankets, diapers and ALL of the things!
I do a lot of newborn foster care as well as having my own and I’ve found a speed/motion for every baby in every mood I’ve put in it. I have now successfully been able to lull my notorious clingy, poor sleeper into 4 hour sleep cycle over night. The APP is easy to setup, pair and navigate. Love I don’t have to hover over almost asleep baby to adjust settings or timer! Yay for sleep! I really love this mamaRoo sleep bassinet and have already recommended it to friends.

Great Bassinet

We used the Mamaroo bassinet for the first few weeks of our newborn son’s life. We primarily used the bassinet for naps in our bedroom. Our son loved the car ride motion and the fan noise both on the second level. Both options go faster and louder, but my son preferred the 2nd level and our son found it very comforting.
We liked that the motion lasted all nap and that we could put it on a timer. I only wish the white noise could have been on a separate timer than the motion (they were both on the same timer). It was also important to us that our son had his own flat, solid surface bed to sleep in that we could keep near our bed. The Mamaroo did all of this! The mesh sides were also key to making us feel comfortable while he slept knowing that the sides were breathable.
The app was also super easy to use so I didn’t have to get up to use the controls.
We would highly recommend the Mamaroo for those newborn stage. It should be noted that we received the product through the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

The best new sleep device on the market!

This is a total game changer. The bassinet itself is great- very sturdy and a great height. My toddler can’t reach the baby which was a big issue for me. The tech is amazing and so user friendly. The app only took me a few seconds to pair and it’s so nice to set a timer and/or turn off everything remotely. But most importantly- My infant loves it! A few minutes on the kangaroo setting w/vibrate and she is out like a light! Knowing it’s a totally safe sleep surface makes me sleep better too! Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for proving me this bassinet.

My new favorite baby gadget!

This bassinet is a parents dream. After getting the bassinet put together (which took all of 10 minutes), my baby slept long enough for me to take an interruption free shower. I feel safe letting my baby sleep in it through the night, the mesh sides let me peek in without getting up and the easy to use app allows me to change speeds or movement types. My favorite setting is “car ride”. It’s smooth and consistent enough to lull my baby to sleep in no time. One of the biggest pros in the self dimming buttons. After you make your selection the lighted buttons dim so you are still able to sleep in a dark room. I will say the bassinet motor is a little louder than I expected but I actually enjoy the low vibration noise now that I’ve gotten used to it. Over all I would highly recommend this to any new parent hoping to catch some much needed z’s. I only wish I’d had this bed with my other children. Thankful for the Stellar Product testing panel for letting me try this bassinet!

Great bassinet with several motions!

Great bassinet with several different motions!
The 4moms - mamaRoo sleep bassinet is very easy to setup and within minutes was ready to use! It had several motion to choose from! My baby’s favorite motions are the car ride and the wave motion on the first sped. It was very important to me that the bassinet had a flat, firm sleeping surface and the mesh siding was an even bigger bonus for airflow and visibility to see my baby. With these features it was easy to follow the safe sleep guidelines and helped me to sleep way better knowing he was safe! I loved that this bassinet had an app to control the motions, speed and the white noise. The only complaint that I had was sometimes when using the app it could not find the bassinet so I would have to unplug the bassinet and plug it back in for the app to find it. Overall, this is a great, safe bassinet that soothed my little guy when napping and at night! Thanks to the weeSpring Parent Panel for providing me with this bassinet to test and review!

Dream Come True

The mamaRoo sleep bassinet is a parents dream come true. The price is so affordable for the value this bassinet provides. My 2 month old son loves the tree swing motion best and it helps get him to sleep for naps and bedtime. He’s now sleeping 5-6 hours at a time at night which has helped this whole sleep deprived family feel normal again! I love that I can just open the app on my phone to turn on music or switch motions/speed when I’m not in the room or I’m in bed.
I feel relief as a mom because I can also see my son through the mesh sides at night. The firm mattress has a washable cover that is so helpful for spit up or diaper leaks.
The only downside is the base is a little large for our small shared bedroom space.
