Don’t buy!!!

I bought this for my new grandson. He is now 4 months old and it stopped working. This company has been everything BUT helpful!!!! I would recommend getting any other product but this one!

Extremely loud with vibration on

Would've been the best product. How could you guys put a product out that's not 100% great? As soon as you turn the vibration on it grinds against the plastic and makes a loud noise over and over. And it looks like other people have the same problem. I put two stars because it's easy to assemble and it rocks great. But the vibration is a major LOUD issue. You can hear it throughout the house. Don't recommend.

Quality is, and always has been, our highest priority. Because of feedback like yours, we were able to identify the reason for the sound issue you describe. It was caused by a variation in the vibration mode. We made the decision to remove this mode and pulled back the previous version of the bassinet from ALL of our retail partners. This change has remedied the sound issue that you encountered.

Sound stopped working

I’ve had this bassinet for about a month now. Since I’ve had it, the sound would shut off after about 5 minutes. Just yesterday, the sound completely stopped working. All the high ratings are mostly from parents that received this item for free. I do NOT recommend this bassinet.

We know that it’s been a few months, but we wanted to thank you for your feedback and follow-up to let you know that we have fixed this sound issue. We have updated the sound chip to ensure the white noise (and all other sounds) worked as they should.
We also wanted to let you know that the positive reviews are real people that have used and loved the product. As part of our marketing program, we do seed the product with testers and influencers, but they are required to disclose that they received the product from us for free in their write-ups.

Does not work

We bought this for our son who is now four months old. Weight is 15 pounds(well under the 25 pound weight limit obviously). We and he loved it while It worked but now(actually has been going on for over a month but no one will respond to my emails) every time we try to turn it on for the motion it moves for two to three seconds and immediately stops. The button lights blink and flash. We have unplugged it, Plugged it back in, we’ve tried everything. It will work if our son is not in it(but what’s the use for it then right?) also when it does run(again the baby not in bassinet) it’s like it stutters when it moves, I’m not sure how else to explain it better. It seems that the motor is going out. The only thing that does work is the white noise. I’m very disappointed in this. So much money down the drain and have had zero help. Not to mention my mamaroo chair is doing the same thing. I don’t recommend to anyone anymore because I have read SO many reviews where this is happening.

The best features

Hello! My sister was gifted this bassinet and I wanted to write a review for her because I watched my nephew a great deal of times as she is a Nurse that works overnight, and it takes a village to raise a child. I helped her purchase this because she didn't get much rest with her husband being in the military, and a whining baby. Let me tell you the rock motion was amazing and he would sleep for 4-5 hours because of course he is a breastfeed baby. I am now pregnant and wouldn't mind having one myself ( just very expensive). Which I added to my baby registry. The only thing I didn't like as much is it would cut off every 4 hours waking the baby. Other than that this the best thing for moms. Great job :)

You can’t see us Ashley, but we’re smiling right now. The 4-hour shut-off feature is standard across our mamaRoo products. In the bassinet it’s designed to help begin the transition from bassinet to crib. It does take a village and we’re happy to be a part of it. #AuntsROCK!

Not so great.

It shuts off constantly and when it does it doesn’t want to turn back on, we have to keep unplugging it and plugging it back in. Sometimes we have to do that multiple times before it starts working again. When you press one of the rocking settings it jerks really hard. Not the greatest product for the money.

WASTE OF MONEY! At first it was great but literally shuts off all the time. Only used for a month before it started doing so. Very disappointed because I wanted this so badly.

Do not buy product even thought the product seems expensive it’s very cheap not worth the buy. Just like their other products the knocking when in any motion is ridiculous so very loud the machine itself sounds like it will over heat.
