Defective mamaroo sleep bassinet

I Received my bassinet today and we even bought the bassinet pad cover and the moment We assembled it and turned it on I noticed it wasn’t working. Whenever I would select a movement it would shut the whole machine off. Sucks because we were really excited for this product and we were relying on this bassinet so our newly born newborn baby to sleep on and now we don’t have a place for our baby to sleep in. We looked up the troubleshooting process and nothing worked.
Have emailed customer support and are waiting to hear back.

Great at first.....but

We purchased this bassinet in early 2021 for our newborn. Like most other reviewers mentioned, the bassinet is very temperamental and stops working pretty quickly. The bassinet would stop in the middle of the night where we had to restart it. Furthermore, it stopped moving completely and the display panel would just flash its light. The music would still work but the motion stopped working completely. We transitioned our baby out of the bassinet earlier than we would have liked due to this malfunction. We just had a new baby a few weeks ago and hoping our investment would reward us by working again, seeing how we hadn't used it in a while. NOPE! Dead. Moves like an inch and that's it. I hope something can be done about this because we spent too much money for this to stop working so soon.

WILL BREAK

bought for my first son, worked great until the bassinet on top started to wobble little by little and eventually became extremely unstable to the point it was dangerous. This happened under warranty so it was replaced, and I tried to use it again with my next baby but I was always so worried about it breaking I just had to get rid of it. It shouldn’t be so delicate your afraid to touch it. I know other moms who the same thing has happened to. And it happens fast, I barely used it before it started breaking. So overall the experience was disappointing and I garuntee if you buy this it WILL break.

A loss of money

I bought it a week before my baby was born, when we try it at home we see that it works but we only tried it for two minutes, then my baby was born and when I thought I would rock my baby to sleep, she never slept! she woke her up! It is a very sudden movement when it starts and when it ends, my baby is only two months old and I have never used the movement since it does not move for more than a minute, I have only used the sound, I would have bought a cheaper one from other brands and it would have worked better for me , what I wanted most was a bassinet that would rock my baby to keep him asleep and this never worked for me.

Future of bassinets!

Hello future 4moms purchasers! I just wanted to say that 4moms gifted the mamaRoo sleep bassinet to me to try it out and give my honest feedback. I have to say, this bascinet is amazing, very high Tech, lots of functions. It plays music as well.. it's also Bluetooth! So you can control it with any smartphone. Android and iPhone friendly! Its travle friendly and very light. Very sleek / expensive looking. The Cushing is amazing and my daughter was very comfortable the whole time while in it. I used this product only at night because every time I put my daughter in it and pressed the on bottom, she would easily fall asleep. My daughter just turned 3 months and sleeps 9- 12 hours overnight in this bassinet. She loves it! I also love that the bassinet has a auto shut off function so its not running all night. Overall really safe product. There is two cons I would say it has. One being I wish it was a little bigger. My daughter just turned 3 months and is already pretty close to out growing it. I love this product so much I wish I could use it for the whole first year! The second being when you turn off the bassinet or when it auto shuts off, it continues to make a medium/loud sound for 20 or so minutes as it cools down then eventually the sound goes away. Other then those two things, I love this product and it is so worth the money. Get this product before your baby is delivered so you can use it right away! - Sean P
