TurboTax Deluxe

Overall good product, however, extra time was needed to tie back to the source(s) of the Turbotax (automatic) calculations. It would be helpful to be able to click on your calculation and see the figures that make up your calculation.

I use, and have been using Turbo Tax Deluxe, for many years. By far, this was my most difficult tax year of all, and the program just guided me through everything I needed to do. I hope they will be there to help me file for years to come. Bravo once more, Turbo Tax Deluxe!!

It makes is much faster to to download information from the previous year. Turbo Tax does a comparison from the previous year so you do not miss a deduction or credit. Has Help Windows that further explain your Tax Return when you need more information.

Buggy this year in early March

The program was forcing me to defer payment of all my household employee's social security/medicare taxes for some reason. An option for some, I guess, but I didn't want to do it. Only way to fix it was to delete Schedule H and Schedule 3 and fill out Schedule H manually.
I also had rounding issues (one place it rounded a number ending with 50 cents up and another place it rounded it down) - again I had to manually enter the numbers to avoid it.
