Since early 2000s - My TurboTax Easy & Accurate

Last year's data loading, Step-by-Step and 1099 downloads from institutions have made my tax preparation with TurboTax very easy. TT caught some 2020 Covid-connected rules that were a enjoyable surprise. All in all, as agreeable an experience as US Federal Tax preparation and filing can be, in my view.

Almost 30 years using TTax and always great

I started using TurboTax in early 90s so have watched it progress over time. It seems every year as new features are added it becomes safer and easier to use. My confidence using TTax has grown over time, it wasn't always easy. The interview process has become much more complete and the self auditing and now Audit defense has blown my confidence to new levels. We itemized every year and have one home with a mortgage. We both were career employees with W-2 income. We lived and worked in 1 state at a time, retired to another state. Now our income is IRAs and Pensions and TTax again makes the interview and income entering process easy. We download our 1099s. We don't need a Tax man to do this for us, it would be throwing money away for our situation. We love it.
Pros: My employment status changed this year, I moved, I bought or sold investments

Why Won't You Believe Me?

Good product. I've used it for years. I wish you would believe me when I tell you I can't file a non-existent state tax form? Why do I have to tell you on four separate screens? Very annoying!!!!
