After 8 successful years this one was not

After finishing 2020 taxes on Deluxe while trying to file on 03/01/2021 and paying $25 for state filing and then 31.80 for Supreme and 10.60 for Home and Business I could not file due to error 1680 (inability to update). After two days of reporting the problem and following every step the from Help and it still did not work I reloaded Turbo on another computer and moved files. After redoing and filing today, I was charged another $25 for state filling and did not need the up grades.

I mis-typed my Soc Sec # by 1 digit and my e-file return was rejected. Why didn't Turbo Tax catch this when 2019's tax info was merged into 2020's return?

Turbo Tax for more than 25 years has been PAINLESS

There have never been any problems with the Turbo Tax software for all these years.
BUT! Be careful to carefully save ANY tax related documents ... speaking strictly for myself documentation has been the only problem with my tax filing! AND this would be the case even if you hire a tax preparation company or individual. (Years ago that was my father! And he sure knew how to holler 'bout the bother'!!)
