2020 Version Turbo Tax Deluxe Maximized my Return

I wasn't as organized as past years. I had all my tax return info from banks, From past experience I expected to pay >$500.00. Turbo Tax got me a refund of >$1,000. That's performance

Have used the product for years. Find it very difficult to find and get to areas I know I need to change or review. Hard to get away from taking it all step by step. I suppose it's good, but I have nothing to compare it to.

I can't believe y'all spend so much money lobbying

Sure doing my taxes with TurboTax is easier, but only because Intuit invests so much money in making it hard. The have repeatedly lobbied to prevent the IRS from developing their own solutions and have tax measures be more complicated. As a business owner and citizen I think this is reprehensible behavior and look forward to a day without Intuit.

Turbotax for NY State is difficult to use

The NY State is difficult to use and understand. I an filing as a nonresident on the program is saying I owe all most as much as what I Paid. There is no instruction as to how the Business Allocation Schedule need to be filled out. Have not been able to figure out how to ask a question about this from.
