Easy to use Turbo Tax Deluxe

You are literally walked step by step through the program. Easy to use and helped me to get a nice size refund. The only negative I have is I did not understand there is a charge to e-file the state return even though you receive the state filing for free.

Super easy!

I really liked being able to switch back and forth between the actual return and the questions. I did not like the weak explanation that was given for the "Other Taxes Paid", it read like it was going in circles and not really explaining the line item or where the total came from.

A good product, but has glitches

I've used TT for many years and prefer it to any other tax prep product but it has some glitches that Intuit needs to tell its user(s). The biggest problem I have encountered is the program shutting down with no explanation when data is entered into the any of the Deduction fields. After years of searching for a solution to the problem I read on an online blog to turn off your personal firewall and anti-virus while preparing your return. I tried it and it works!! I had the shut down problem for two of the past three tax years and could never get anyone from Intuit to return my questions or help me resolve the issue. If you have problems, go online and query a blog for troubleshooting

Turbotax is a great program

It pretty much take you through your taxes step by step. The Federal program is easy. I had some problems with the state because a question was rather ambiguous so was confusing, would liked to have it explained a little further. This was on the state of Kansas and was in the homestead form, didn't know whether to answer N or Y.
