Many glitches this year

I found TT not to be well worked this year. I received a 1099 NEC and TT didn't automatically bring up my business deductions. I had to go searching after it tried to complete my return without. I actually had to work a lot through the actual forms section. Also, I was not interested in deferring my Self Employment but it wouldn't let me not. Wasted much much time this year.

Still does taxes, weak in details

The mechanism of doing taxes works as well as ever; it's thorough in making sure I don't overlook anything.
It was remarkably difficult to buy the download version -- I kept getting pushed back to the online version.
It also seemed weaker when dealing with older data. It suggested I look something up from last year's return, which was odd, since I had imported last year's to begin this year's (and it retained much of that data for the summary pages). Then, when I tried to open last year's return, it thought I wanted to start a new return and imported it into a new return -- and I still couldn't see the requested data. I had to find a PDF copy of last year's return... weird since so much else is well integrated.
And I still don't like paying extra to efile my state return...
