Detailed but good

TurboTax Deluxe is very detailed and thurogh. But that also means it is laborious if you let the program control each step.

Quick & Easy

Completed my return quickly, but received an Error message before finishing. Was able to speak with a live person at 9PM EST on a Friday relatively quickly. It turns out I needed to upgrade my system to Windows 10. I've used TT in the past and will continue to use it in the future.

State Taxes rejected twice

State taxes rejected twice, because of a software problem in their product. I didn't purchase this product, so that I could beta test your software for you. State taxes get rejected a third time, I fill them out by hand and mail it in. That's the last time you'll hear from me.

TurboTax Software Glitch cost us $1,200!

This year was very confusing. We went from having a $200 federal refund to owing the feds $1,000. The confusing part was because we got an alert that our State return (not federal) had been rejected. The reason given for the rejection was a software error in TurboTax. We then had to wait two weeks for TurboTax to update its software. And when it did our federal refund vanished and now we got stuck with a $1,000 federal tax bill. 2020 might be the last year we use TurboTax.
