fed went good , but i paid stand the tax all year and what i paid did show on the state return. and the only place i could enter it was in the fed part of the program. that was the ohio state program

Delay in Form 2210 not acceptable

Because of the delay in implementing the final form for the underpayment penalty, I could not e-file my taxes, causing a day by day additional penalty for interest. I would suggest that in these situations, it would be better to offer a temporary form and allow payment while then later amending the return with the updated form. Also it took nearly 3 weeks for the new updated form to be implemented - that is simply not acceptable during tax season and needs to be expedited. I am not certain next year whether I will purchase this software and I will look for other options. Others apparently ended up in my situation

No Basis for Penalty/Interest Deduction by TT.

No problems using Turbo Tax, as usual, but when I got to the end of my Federal return there was a $35 dollar unexplained deduction from my refund. Smells like a charge for filing the state return, which I did NOT choose. Where was this explained, or why wasn't it?

The check and balance system is excellent. Not only does the program identify any non-congruent entries, but also identifies entries that need to be double checked because they may raise a flag.
