One big problem

We had to use the deduct fee from refund, NO CHOICE!!!!! the screen would not accept my billing information be cause the Turbo Tax program screen was so big. Hard to explain but we tried everything.

TurboTax is ok

This is a fine product. However I do not understand why an update is required every time I stop and restart. There is no way the government updates forms that often. Also could not enter credit card info to pay the fee so had to deduct from refund at an expensive fee. Could not see a way to go forward from that screen so had to go back to deduct fee. I have used Turbo Tax for almost 30 years. Didn't have problems other than these two this year.

Great Tax Program. The best

This is one of the best Tax preparation programs that I have ever used. I used to have a Tax Accountant do my taxes for $300. Haven't used him for 2 years now.

This year is different and a little frustrating.

I have always been very confident in using TurboTax; we've used it since our Tax guy retired. It's cheaper and more convenient, actually. This year, we had warnings for items that didn't make sense, the program kept insisting we defer self-employment tax (we're not self-employed), and there were numbers on screens for Farm income--it just felt a little glitchy. At the end of the day, the error checks helped me correct those items, so that is appreciated. I'm spoiled though, so I expect a smooth process from TurboTax. Looking forward to next year.

Couldn't find electronic copy of 2019 return so had to enter everything. Process was smooth and easy. Just answered the questions and TT did the rest.
