TurboTax overall works well

As a retiree in NYS, TurboTax works well for me. My tax information is fairly straight-forward, except for NY State Pension payments. I wish the wording could be made clearer for what to input on lines 14 & 16 of Form 1099R for NYS Employees Retirement System. The wording used on those line of my 1099R form is different than the wording being asked by TurboTax and I find it challenging to complete that information each year. My line 14 says "EXEMPT" and my line 16 says "NY". I believe but am never sure that I should leave both of these lines blank or zero. I wish Intuit would clarify this terminology.

Turbo Tax is so easy

I have used Turbo Tax for over 20 years without an audit It's a wonderful way to do taxes without the expense of paying someone else And it is user friendly
