The Step-by-Step method needs one improvement

In 2020 I made a Qualified Charitable Distribution. When I used the Step-by-Step method to incorporate the 1099R form there was no prompt to detail the recipient and their Tax ID. This bothered me since I had not made this type of contribution in 2019, Only when I was reviewing the 1040-SR online did I find in very small type QCD next to line 4b Taxable Amount. To my surprise, QCD is a link to an explanation form I could use to add detail to my donation which I did. My suggestion is that the next iteration of TurboTax uses the entry of an X in the IRA/SEP/SIMPLE box on a 1099R while in "Step-by-Step' to display a popup explanation form.

A very acceptable product

I have been using TurboTax for many years. It has been improved over those years but there are still a few items that could be improved - and most likely will be. For example, while doing a check of my completed forms, a problem area was identified but it was difficult to track it down quickly. I finally found the location by looking at the forms - and it was highlighted on one of the forms. It took a little extra time, but if I had looked at forms right away, I would have found where the error was.

1099-R from NC - your numbers for boxes12-14 are different from the form I received from NC, which shows them as boxes 14-16. Someone is wrong!
