I Had Trouble This Year

I had two problems this year: 1. I could not install TurboTax 2020 from my disc. I tried turning off all security software but that also did not work. I had to copy the disc into my computer and install from there. 2. I had a major problem forw hich I could find no workaround. I could not get past the check for updates step getting a fatal error.
this persisted for about a week and then suddenly everything worked. I presume that there was a problem that TurboTax had interfacing to the latest Microsoft OS update. From then on everything worked smoothly. I will still use TurboTax next year.

Good but some glitches

Printing tax files printed some duplicate forms. Installing from CD was not perfect.
Pros: My employment status changed this year, I moved, I bought or sold investments

Failed to ask about mortgage interest

I filed my returns and woke up in the night realizing I didn't add my 1098 deductions on my returns. There was no flag to ask about that entry.

Most Straightforward and Approachable Tax Solution

TurbTax helps me get the max from my taxes every year. Admittedly, my tax situation is fairly run-of-the-mill, but it catches situations that I'd miss if I were filling out the tax forms by hand.
