I've used Turbotax Deluxe for more years than I can remember; and it truly takes the stress out of preparing my taxes. I'm always confident when I submit my taxes. They guarantee accuracy and assistance if you need it later. I'm so confident that Turbotax Deluxe is the best product for me.

Always something

At the very end I was not able to log on to the payment site. I therefore had to go through the whole process of deducting my state fee from my refund along with an extra charge. There always seems to be some little, non-functioning glitch every year.

Installation was not smooth under Windows 10

WIndows 10 install crashed at first, Windows 10 OS crashed and burned, Windows 8.1 install was flawless, would not run on Mac OS 10.11.6 El Capitan, software found previous year files despite OS crash.

NY State Return Long Island RR Pension Issue

TurboTax had an error regarding NYS Tax format. There was an issue with how NYS Long Island RR pensions where handled. Even though I had nor LIRR pension on my return I still had to go through the corrections to refile my return.
Please note: The return correction steps were not able to be printed separately and could not be viewed while making the corrections updating the form. I had to write them out. This is the reason for 4 star rating..
