I have been using TurboTax as my tax prep software since the days before GUI and when the returns were not electronically filed. They were printed on a black and white dot-matrix printer and mailed to the IRS for filing. Shortly after I first purchased TurboTax, I took and Federal Tax Course at a local college and starting attending income seminars. I opened and operated a part time income tax service out of my home for many years using Turbo Tax and can't say enough about how essential the program was to success. I never had a form rejected nor or a client audited. Many of my clients became friends and regular customers. It's been fun but know I just due taxes for friends and relatives. I started using Turbo Tax when I was in my 30's and just celebrated my 70th birthday this past year.

Turbo Tax Deluxe guided me through the tax preparation process with ease. A few times I thought I was lost in the process, however the Turbo Tax software promptly lead me to the
correct steps for a mistake-free maximum refund. I will always use Turbo Tax.

I have used turbotax for years to file my taxes. I can feel secure, in the accuracy of my filed taxes. The program is easy to use, and it askes me easy to understand questions, so no topic is missed.

Not As Good As It Was

After using TurboTax for 15+ years, it is getting too complicated to use. A lot of places you end up don't let you go back, some links don't seem to work, and many explainations are too vague or too abreviated. What once was laymens terms are now written for tax attorneys.
