TurboTax works okay, but needs to be more helpful

I had some simple questions that I needed help with, but TurboTax referred me to the IRS website to look it up on my own. Furthermore, the software apparently had an error for California State taxes that caused my e-file to be rejected initially and I had to correct that and resubmit. While TurboTax made it easy to do, I find such errors to be a nuisance. This said, this is the first time I had any issues with TurboTax and I have been using it successfully for several decades now.

I was able to enter all of my deductions and I'm getting a nice refund. I had less income than last year, so I didn't have as many categories to work on.

The step by step instructions can be followed by anyone. It is the most user friendly software I have ever used. I have been using Turbo Tax for about 20 years.
