I have been using Turbo Tax to file my returns for over 20 years this the first time I have had problems with the program and the explanations of what need to be done. First because I filed by mails last year (I had to Pay) my return was rejected because my 2019 AGI did not coordinate with what was on file with the IRS . I had to research the blog before i figured what to do a simple change to the filing instructions addressing the situation would have helped. Then I my Montana state return was rejected because the program used my 2020 Federal return to populate the amount of my 2019 state refund. and it took me several tries to it figure out as the review program did not catch the error.

had a small problem with the AZ State Military Pension exemption. Supposed to be $3500 but your program would only do $2500 which is outdated

Had to buy new laptop

Make sure your computer will work with 2020 version. The 9 year old Mac browser would no longer run the program. Had to buy a new laptop

turbo tax is good, missed credit by me

i have been using turbo tax for years, this year there was a new credit for the state of nebraska that was in turbo tax but kind of hidden in my opinion, for nebraska, property owned by and individual tax credit, you could take it by checking the box, but it i would think there should be a question for it, like do you own or buying a house if so you should review this credit

Crashes every time

While the software did the tax return - the program crashes and must be reinstalled every time it is opened after filing.
