Love how it transfers information from last year's return in order to save re-entry of information. I choose to have TurboTax guide me through each section to make sure I don't forget anything. Never been Audited because TurboTax doesn't make mistakes.

Filing was a pain

My laptop is slow but I tried to log in to my turbo tax account 4 times and finally gave up and paid as a visitor! Got kicked out during the final steps 2x.

Rejection Anxiety

My return was rejected due to a software error that was fixed with an update. However, it wasn't until I was able to login and update my software was I informed that it was a software error. It would have been nice for TurboTax to notify users that their returns may be rejected because of the error. Sure would have reduced the anxiety.

Not too happy

Evidently program wasn't updated to include changes to Oregon's latest tax requirements. Only had to file 1099Rs and SSA1099s, but Oregon rejected because lack of a software update...so had to pay to refile return.

Helpful but shady

The turbotax deluxe package helped me a little with some the harder parts of filing taxes this year, but I was very upset to find out after filling out all my information that they were going to charge me another fee on top of what I already paid for the service. I wish I would have known that there would be fees at the end otherwise I would have saved my money. I felt misled, but I guess my taxes are done so there's that.

Easy and quick to work. Although I didnt have many deductions, so maybe have a tab to skip that part
