Better than paying a tax service.

This product is great for tax preparation. Turbo Tax guides you through the entire preparation process. If you hit a section that you don't understand, just hit the help / tip link and a box appears with an explanation all without launching a browser.

Pretty godd but could be improved

Data entry has some problems.
1) I had to enter my IRA balance twice and my wife's twice.
2) Each category ( income, deductions etc) has many steps. After each step you have to scroll to the bottom to get to the nest step.
3) After completing and checking my return a couple of times, I had to enter (reenter) info while transmitting the returns, 4 different pieces on info.
4) While completing the survey a 2 character nickname is too short.

TURBO TAX is an excellent program and I would recommend it to anyone. As a matter of fact I have recommended it to lots of my friends. So if you have bouts don't it safe and will walk you through every step.
