TurboTax has always been the best for us

Initially I had issues with TurboTax not providing guidance about RMD distributions. The online forum however cleared things up when an expert said to NOT call it an RMD distribution as that requirement was eliminated in 2020. The rollover back into my IRA accounts then behaved correctively.

Turbo Tax captures everything

Turbo Tax stepped through all the pertinent topics and covered stimulus checks as well. Had an annoying bug in the state tax where it kept recycling from the analysis and asking the same questions over and over after everything was answered twice. Remembered the driver's licence info but requested the bank info for both returns. So a little clean up would make it much nicer.

Very through and fast

Tried TurboTax last year and was very please with the results. They walk you through every step of the process. I did have a question this year , so called the help line. A 35 minute estimated wait I thought was a little excessive. Got cut off after 25 minutes. For a simple uncomplicated return, you can't beat TurboTax
