Too expensive for filing state taxes

Good program, but you should not charge an additional $40 for "processing" the $20 you charge for the state
Not to mention we paid around $50 for the program

Software is pretty good but some items are vague as to what should be entered. For example depletion amounts difference between Fed. and Okla. Some items need a clearer explanation of what is meant by some terms, for example what Total Amount actually includes, whether it is gross amount, net amount and if net amount what is excluded. More direction should be include about which State return should be done FIRST, non-resident or resident return. Finally, too many extra high charges such as: $40+ for more than one State return, $20+ for e-filing each State return after paying $50+ for TT software. For the combined cost for Fed and two state returns, it's less costly to use a tax expert to file.

Turbo Tax is Great

Been a Turbo Tax user for over a decade, its my go to for tax preparation. Some of my favorite features but by no means the only ones is the migrations of data from the previous tax years, which saves times and effort to prepare the present years taxes. The program saves time in State Tax filing as well by migrating data the federal form over to the State which makes doing State Taxes a breeze with the need for minimal data entry to complete. Highly recommended to others.
