State e-file charge twice.

I went to pay for my filling charges using a credit card to avoid additional charges. After changing my credit card turbo tax would not return. So, when I closed out and signed back in I was again charged. Turbo Tax never asked me for my personal identity pin, so my first return was rejected. On my second return I had to search for where to find the spot to enter my PIN. I think both of these issues are done on purpose to cost customers more money. It cost me $100 in fees to file my taxes. I will be looking to other options next year.

Really liked the ability to quickly go through entire application. Very easy to navigate.

Able to do taxes with little knowledge. Glad to have this tool. Wish we had a product before the year end to do estimates and begin work on the next year's taxes.

TurboTax is the only way I will do my own taxes...

I hated doing taxes manually. Years ago I got "Personal tax edge" and I believe that eventually turned into or was bought by TurboTax. It is GREAT not to have to get all the paperwork in order before starting on my taxes. I can add receipts and amounts to the spreadsheets behind any given field in the tax forms, and all the downstream calculations are done for me automatically. For example, if I find a $20 receipt at the end of my work, when it was manual I would not bother using it for my taxes. But now it is easy to add that to giving or some expense category, and let the software do all the calculations from there for all the tax forms. THAT makes it enjoyable (if that be possible) to do my taxes.

I felt that Turbo Tax was easy to use, clear language and the screens were managable. Turbo Tax led me through each segment of the topics which I liked. Great software.
