Everything was easy & went well this year, almost.

I didn't have any major issues and got it filed the day after the forms were ready.
There was only 1 hiccup and 1 annoyance.

The hiccup was regarding Form 14039, Identify Theft Affidavit.
- Received an email that said it and several other forms were finally available. Downloaded updates but review process stated it was unavailable so would not allow filing. Since the Theft was from 2017, deleted it, but there was not help or guidance as to when it actually is needed. After deletion it filed. Still not sure if it should have been filed again this year or not.

The annoyance is related to a consistent yearly problem with Turbotax, the optional fees when selected do not bill together. Expected procedure: TT should process all the charges for Audit protection, state filing and any other add-ons in 1 single transaction. Actual procedure: Process each item purchased separately with required logins, verification etc, this is a Pain in the annoyance.

Turbo Tax is clear and succinct

Completed my 2020 return by following Turbo Tax's step-by-step approach. As a naturalized UK immigrant who retired to the USA, I have not worked within this country, my entire income comes from the UK by way of monthly pension payments in UK currency which I convert to $US using exchange rate data. I do not have US employer details or forms, thus I have to enter data saved from a spreadsheet.
