The ease of carrying over last years information is always very helpful and shortens the time to complete your taxes. This year however, the 1099NEC and interaction with Schedule C as well as the handling of EXEMPT State tax for NYSLRS wasn't at all easy or clear. Even online assistance lacked complete details.

1. Follow step-by-step. 2. Answer the questions. 3. Simple as falling off a log (although you'll obviously need to do some work to answer every question.)
Well conceived by Intuit, even though they stupidly nearly cut their own throat one year by greed. I believe they've come to their senses.
