Simple and straightforward. When I first bought a tax program many years ago I used H&R Block, but the following year I used TurboTax and have been using it ever since. TurboTax is the best!

Room to improve

This is the first year I have had difficulty--We needed to file our federal taxes jointly and our state separately. I feel like there are other military families in the same boat, so I was surprised it was so confusing and such a nightmare. We had to do a mock of our federal, submit, and wipe out my spouse. Then re-do my state and mail it. Then we had to fix something on our federal and I had to go back and redo it all.

I love using Turbo Tax for Federal filing purposes. It is so easy to use and pre-fills everything from the prior year. I don't use the State filing as Colorado has on free online system, and the Turbo Tax version has a substantial charge....
